i like kyoko. she's kindda cute... i watched her in FRIENDS with korean actor (Won Bin)
i loved that movie!!!! although my sister didn't like it at all, she didn't even finish the first episode, she probably watched 10 minutes of it.. -_-;
it was good tho. the english-speaking part was cute. hehe ;P
i wish i can get some NGs or interview mpgs. ;P
She lost quite some weight though, didn't she? She looks a lot thinner than before. Makes me a bit worried though, since I have what happened to Miyazawa Rie in the back of my mind.

I personally think Friends was average, it's just a typical romance between two people of different nationalities. Since there are only 4 episodes, I didn't expect much in the plot. Kyoko was very cute in there though. Got to see her running a lot in this mini drama _________________

not sure, but i didn't think Kyoko was even anything different, i didn't find a bit fat, compared others. In japan, i didn't find very much fat girls, and even they weren't that fat. I find them very fit and nice. Kyoko is all fine. I think a lot of it is the media, maybe compared to the really slim ones, Yu Yamada, and others, Kyoko....maybe...but still i think she is ok.
also saw Ayumi 2, Chiaki and Aya Ueto in the same screen, nice....
even though it was not in eng. sub's and i didn't understand it, still nice to check out the j-idols.
I liked her before she seems to have lost some weight. I'm just a bit worried that she might go down the same road as Miyazawa did with her eating problems some years ago. I really hope Kyoko won't have to experience the same things.

really, the difference in her weight was subtle, but now they you all mention it, she was thinner a little in her more recent ones, and yes her popularity seems to be waning, and she less popular now, but i still see her on magazine covers and some movies that come up. She will always be my first j-idol, that got me in j-idols.

although i've enjoyed some of the dramas she's been in, her acting skills don't compare to some of the other popular female celebrities here.....moreover, the japanese obsession with finding the next best YOUNGER thing is always operating in the background. unless she can evolve into a more practiced (i.e. skilled) entertainer/actress she'll take a backseat to the current flavors of the month, if you catch my drift. but that's the case in most instances, i'm not out to criticize kyoko fukada particularly. she obviously still has a large following and she does command an audience...i've seen her in some japanese commercials/ads as recently as late june.

Hehe... she's not my number 1, but she ranks pretty high

yeah, i fully agree with you. Kyoko's acting skills are fair, but i guess Japan is interested in the next younger newer idol coming in, oh well, Kyoko is still among my favorites.
