JTV has not yet released the final episode. If you truly want to see the last episode, and you don't mind questionable English, then you can download it here: Link

I seriously love this series. I am going to watch this series more than once that's for sure. What series would you recommend for me after watching this one? Especially since am I not only a Kimutaku fan, but I am seriously and totally a Yuko Takeuchi fan. O.O

That's another thing, bad English in this series...

nah... people who think Prides were so bad arent tough at all. The story makes sense and much of the rest is very basic easy to understand errors. Did not detract from the drama.......

But still......

but still....... I am super psyched that my set with great subs arrives next week!! Dancing w00t! yippee Dancing w00t! yippee Dancing w00t! yippee Dancing w00t! yippee Dancing w00t! yippee Dancing w00t! yippee

let's put it this way...i understand simple japanese....so when there was one scene where Aki was making breakfast at Haru's apartment ... there was a conversation regarding whether there was any fruit available...

english translation = "do you have any wine?"

i almost threw my mouse across the street.....out of sheer reactionary insanity.

A number of ways that a native English speaker would have said it...

Halu's trying to be nonchalant, noncomittal in the series, saying "maybe..." and the writers of Pride used that English word correctly.

At the end, Halu's not trying to play games any more... any phrase that isn't noncommital would have been fine. I think the writers chose "must be", thinking it to be the logical probability-descriptive term and also because it rhymes.

If the writers were looking for a one word term that would be more natural in English to express the change from 50% (maybe) to 100%... native English speakers can volunteer their favorite term. Here are some examples:

absolutely
completely
definitely
doubtfully! rofl
positively
truly

Wine and fruit. Makes a perfect combination, right? hehe

yeah but i didn't see anybody talking about trying to make any sangria....
moreover, the gender/subject agreement was waaaaaaaaaaaay off in some parts...it sucked. i watched it mind you but there were a few spots were i seriously got thrown off for a few seconds...i should have just focused on listening instead of trying to contact the National Security Agency's cryptology department for the correct translation....

at one point i thought the subtitles were actually written in WWII German Engima code.

seriously it was bad....i wouldn't have given it to a friend. the FOB translations ended at 7, so after that is was crap.

just finished watching all eps of Pride, and i have to say i'm slightly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, i'm no KimuTaku basher, but i guess i was comparing this series with his other series (ones that are all-time greats), oh well. i hope engine will be a bit better...

Of KImura's dramas since 2000, I actually think Pride and Hero are the best. Engine was the worst.

I also think that Pride wasnt as good as his other dramas, sometimes it was a bit boring...but the ending made up for it all.
