Hmm, no surprises there. Seems like Yoshitsune (NHK taigas are always strong in the ratings, right?) and Engine (KimuTaku) are the dramas people are watching.

yup, ratings for taiga dramas r normally higher.. to see how the ratings fare, think pple normally compare ratings of the current taiga with those in the past years...

Average ratings for some of the taiga dramas
2003 Musashi 16.7%
2002 Toshie to Matsu 22.1%

Well, before the 90's taiga has always hit that 30% mark, but in the 90's Hideyoshi is an exception. It stars Naoto Takenaka as Hideyoshi Toyotomi, and the others are not your usual rating-pullers.

Wow, the drop of Slow Dance's ratings is just unpredictable, while Densha Otoko is probably the best drama this season.

What about the teacher from hell. (The Queen's Classroom)
She is showing steady improvement since the first week implying viewers
are catching on to this great series.
Probably will give Densha Otoko stiff competition for best drama of the season.
