actually, i also prefer the first season but maybe i love too much Yankumi to say goodbye T_T ( i`m a little bit mad lol it`s not someone real but she`s a very interesting character...i really want to have a teacher like her...not you?

There is currently no talk of Gokusen 3.... There has been reports that Nakama Yukie san is tired of filming Gokusen.... And other saying that she isn't getting paid enough so don't want to do it....

I think at the end of gokusen 2 Yankumi and Kyoto met on a beach on the way to their new school... So who knows.. they might do another one in the future... Rumours were flying that if they did do 3.. The actors would be the three boys who were in Kinpachi Sensei (Taiyou, Hikaru and Kota)

Persoanlly.. I'd like to see some thing different.. where Yankumi goes to a all girls school even if it doesn't follow the manga....hehe

Dunno why.. I am even not that keen on watching Gokusen2.. although Yankumi is cute, Sawada is cuter! If there is a comeback of him, remember to let me know, I'd really like to watch him and Yankumi together.. wahz!

bleh...i couldn't imagine anything more boring than another season of gokusen...the show just doesn't work without the original characters...even bringing back shin wouldn't make the show any better...because without the other boys, there is no comic foil for shin...or yankumi for that matter...

they all hafta be there to make it work...as proven by the second season...yankumi and kuma can't carry it alone...a show about yankumi and shin wouldn't be gokusen...you gotta have them all

so..lol they can ask to all actors of the first gokusen to come back...

I think we prefer the original characters cause they come from the manga, and the manga is often the better source of something very good (like the drama Gokusen 1 or Meteor Garden 1 not the second..argh!)

I haven't seen Gokusen 2, but I know that the cast of students is different.
By suggesting bringing back the actors from Gokusen 1, that would be confusing right??? I majority of them weren't in the 2nd and to come back in a 3rd season, it seems odd. Even if they were to play different characters or the same.....it be odd now..

it just been confusing haha..... In the first episode.. they'd all graduated right... so it be hard for them to come back as High School students...hehe

i agree...the situation wouldn't be the same..and with so much time apart...there is no telling how the characters are supposed to act around one another. the guys can't be students to yankumi's teacher anymore. it would almost seem awkward.

and i also agree that i prefer the first season because it was based around the manga...if the manga had been like the second season...i would have stopped reading after the first or second volume...the characters from the manga are leaps and bounds more interesting than the boys from the second season

Ever since Gokusen, Akanishi and Kamenashi have been getting mroe roles. Akanishi finished Anego, and Kamenshi will be doing 2 more dramas, one with Yamashita that airs in October, and I read in the Japanese Newspaper, that he'll be the new "Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo"...I can't picture him as Kindaichi...well the third Johnny to obtain the role, but I like Matsumoto as Kindaich....he was so cool...^_^

Could someone explain to me what has happened between Odagiri Ryu and Yabuki Hayato, so that Hayato called Ryu uragiri-mono?

omggggggggg i love gokusen and yeah, sawada's building jealousy of shinohara was soo adorable. whenever sawada smiled all knowingly at yankumi's words behind her back, my heart was beating like crazy. wahhh!!! is there more romance b/w them in the anime/manga version? i wish we could have seen what wouldve happened b/w them after episode 12... esp. after what sawada says to shinohara and tetsu and that other guy... LOL... eeeeeeee!!! i love his LOOK. im going crazy!!!

oooh... does anyone know where i can download the special that comes after gokusen? the only torrent i found had no seeders...

hai hai... That's just say not just Jin and Kame that got popular after Gokusen... so did Koike (Takeda), Mokomichi (Tsuchi) got popular as well...but Koide (Hyuka) hasn't gotten much new roles..but he's in magazine's more.....hahaha

Well Koike h been popular since either Yankee or Waterboys 2 actualyy...Mokomichi is either Gokusen or Yankee, but he looks better in Ame to Yume no Atoni and Gokusen.
