That's a possibility but Gokusen just doesn't do it for me. The 1st half of every episode is funny but its nowhere as cool as GTO.
The story of the 2nd half of the manga is still good. But then the drama special and GTO movie were not that great, despite the movie having Tanaka Rena. _________________

At this point, I don't see any second series for GTO in the making or even any consideration into such a project.
If they wanted to do so, they would've done it years ago.
The only possible way (IMO) that they would do such is if the network station (idk, was it TBS?) takes a plunge in ratings and becomes desperate to raise funds and ratings. Other than that, I think it's been too long overdue to conclude a second series. So I wouldn't get your hopes up. _________________

Quote: | Even Sorimachi is old, he still can portrayed the Onizuka character. Doesn't matter old or young, it is the way the actor get into the role playing itself.
I think it would be better if there is another movie instead of another season. The movie would be at about 1h30mins of play or more concluding the overall. |
ya agree ....

And I agree. Sorimachi kicks @$$ in GTO. |
Thats 10 yrs older then the Onizuka from the anime...
I think its the facial look he got now, not as young as it was years back.
I personally wouldn't care how old Sorimachi is if they do a GTO 2, he the best to play Onizuka _________________

Just when Onizuka ist about to tell Fuyutsuki that he wants to merry her,his cell phone rings! The student on the other line needs help and the last thing Onizuka says is "Hokkaido"!
I konw that Fuyutsuki's parents live on Hokkaido, but what does that have to do with this whole last situation???????? |
Man, two years down the road and I have the same problem ! Geez. It was a good thing that the real life Onizuka and Fuyutski got together. We had a real life sequel to a reel life plot
