Eps 3 & 4 I found even more hilarious. Internet Cinderella story is fun. Yes, when you look at it, it paints the anime otaku in a pretty painful light. The train otaku probably is not a JR employee, could be, but more often than not I'd say the otaku aren't working at the object of their obsession. I'm sure with enough dedication & money, you could aquire the uniform. Note that there's a market for various womens uniforms and the recent hulaboo about the new ANA uniforms (anyone spot the cute ANA Anniversary figures in the plane otaku's room? I want a set. Uh oh, I just revealed my otakuness...) that went missing after an advertising shoot. Like most of the military and airsoft otaku I've seen are not in the military. When it's your job and you have to wear the uniform/equipment, I think it has a tendancy to make you want to get out of it. To the otaku, I think it's that whole living a fantasy thing.
Anyway, i'm finding this series to be great fun.

aww cant wait to see episode 7..... 
btw, the hermes couple cup become one of the top selling product of hermes in japan now....many people went to buy it bcos of densha otoko till it is out of stock.....i want one too.....
