Ok, I have 2 propositions, don't flame me for coming up this these ideas, just thought maybe it'll help.

Here goes, I have a dilemma. I'm lazy and I can't keep up with all the stuff out there but at the same time I like to get updates to my list. Streamload list flys by, people requests, people reply. Maybe just me, it's fun at first, but then it gets tiring really fast. In an ideal world, I should be able to access this updated list anytime I want. I don't mind put up some work, but it just seems to me, it's inefficient, because of the duplicated work everywhere. Everyone is trying to build their list, person A requests, person B gave, person A said Thanks ... and the thread get bloated. So here is my idea, someone keeps a sorted managed centralized list (the gold / ultimate list), updates goes to it. Then that person send out this list to the few in the group "Admin". The "Admin" will rotate among themselve the task in managing the list, so it won't be tiring. Each admin will then distribute the list to their sub group, that way the golden list will get propagated to all who need it. Sounds good? Well, you may ask, if everyone gets the full list, then who's going to try get new updates? Hmmm, we can probably implement a rule like, if you want to stay in membership of this group, then you have to contribute one update per week, or something like that. We can talk more if people are interested in this idea. Ok, what can I offer? I can offer my some what long but poorly managed list, see URL below. It's got J/K/C Drama and movies. It has a lot of duplicated entries. I went through and sort a lot of files into folders and one mistake, duplicated filename showed up everywhere

Proposition 2: Okay, no one like my first idea, that's fine, I've been known for being an idealist. I'm still lazy, so I like to enlist someone who's willing to help me to manage the list. You'll get my Streamload Live Action list to start off. The condition is you have sort the list and get more updates and send me a new list when I ask for it. Also I really like to contribute to this forum, so when you get the time reply to other's request for SL. Sounds good? To sweeten the deal, I'll send you my entire Anime list as well which is probably 20x more entries than the one list in the URL. But this has to be after the Live Action list has been updated with more stuff and sorted. Of course, I'll only go with proposition 2 if my first idea didn't go through.

Ok, I blah enough. Hopefully, someone go for my idea???

Trust me i use to run my own SL list for 8 mos. and its hard to keep up! i ended up quitting.. not bec. u had to deal with idiots and strangers 50-100 visitors per day, i had my own message-board/guestbook and i made with certain rules/faqs for them to follow bec. people still ask stupid questions.. plus updating my list everyday.. basically a lot of everything! i also gave it another chance with a few of my friends, then comes with disagreements and greediness, lots of drama!!
i still help serving @ this lj community every now and then but i tend not to do it as much as i use to and its not much of a problem now since im running with a lot of people.

i guess my advice to you, is its better to work this with a lot of people than just by yourself, 2-3 people is still not enough. if you're planning to run that for such a long time, then more power to you and goodluck finding a partner/crew/group.
