haven't seen much anime since watching Tenjho Tenge, can't wait for volume #2 to come out...
also haven't seen the one you were mentioning above....
About a boy who wants to become a great Shinobi....Ninja or something.
He wields the power of Fire in the plam of his hands. Its pretty good and funny. If you want to know a bit of it, just read the first 2 or 3 manga and you'll get it I recommend this serie to anyone _________________

feel like i have been a bit out of it with anime. I should catch up a little and read some of my latest Newtype Magazine. I have been more into J-dramas and J-idols more thesedays.
I've been watching Yawara recently. It's a really good older anime (about 15 y.o. I think). Great memorable characters, good dramatic story, compelling rivalries, and some good old comedy relief (especially the hilarious grandfather character). Most new animes are complete crap in comparison, IMHO.

Flame of Recca is brilliant. Its one of my favorite action anime. Not because its necessarily the best, but it was the first action anime that I watched and really got into. I'll also recommend Yu Yu Hakusho. Its another excellent action anime.
Loved Yu Yu too.
Houshin Engi was pretty cool. I liked its offbeat story. _________________

Yawara is a tremendous anime!
I love that Fashionable Judo Girl!
and her grandfather, Jingoro is awesome too.
Just bought Gravitation DVDs from Right Stuf.
Watching the English version tonight.
But the songs are only in Japanese, well done _________________

ohh my bad, to be honest i have no idea when the movie was out in the theatres, the FMA lj community has been talking about that movie since last year of summer as if they've already seen it... and majority of them doesnt even live in japan.. ive been curious all a long.. thats why
i think since FMA doesnt have a connections like ghibli being bought or associated with disney.. most likely it'll be licensed and distributed by dvd videos, no releasing at the theatres whatsoever. like all the other animes being licensed by ADV and such..etc. _________________

The thing I liked better in the anime than the drama was the fact that Yankumi actually displayed evidence that she is a Kumicho. In the drama, it was stated, but she didn't really do anything to convince you that she was the leader, rather just an inheritor. In the anime, Yankumi participated in the yakuza events, and didn't immediately deny the possiblilty of being the next leader. This was one of the aspects that I didn't really like about the drama. She downplayed the part of her that made her different from the teachers, and ironically it was this part that allowed her to bond with her students. The anime is pretty short however. I wish it was a full 26 ep series.

how can people even compare those...or bleach vs naruto, or say naruto = dbz or even worse call people who enjoy Naruto anime "NARUTARDS"
I mean what's up with that, if you like the manga so much, why bash the anime. Don't like it then don't watch it. The funny thing is that they lurk around in the channel waiting for "Narutards" to come in and make fun of them. I'm like wtf are you doing there when you hate the show?
It seems to be common that manga-fanatics tend to love the manga, but hate the anime. I can understand that up to some point, if I knew what was happening because I read the manga before or even know the ending, I'd probably not enjoy the anime so much. But even when I don't, I wouldn't have problem with it when others do enjoy it.
As for One Piece, I found my old cdrs and I got up to ep40 by K-F, got a friend who has it up to 150 so I'm going to borrow it from him I probably wouldn't bother to catch up myself though if I had to download all of it.
thank you! thats exactly what i wanna say.. i simply cannot even compare which ones the best of all 3 (one piece vs. naruto vs. bleach) i watch them all but i guess one piece won my heart bec. i love pirates since day one. and yeh if u only live closer id let u borrow all my OP dvds and let u catch up.. simply its the stories behind the people they try to defend and save the day that caught my attention and how luffy and his crew mates are so hilarious when they argue. sometimes i would catch my self laughing my ass off just seeing their expression.
i hope you enjoy watching them, imo i'd say the best battle and episodes would probably starting from ep. 153-195. that got me all teary.. hehe the 2nd best would probably be ep. 92-130 and 3rd best is probably the story of Sanji and Chopper.. that was cute.. well im a sucka for OP _________________

My friend just gave me up to 150 I think I'll have to rewatch from start again, I think it will take quite some time ...it took me nearly a month to watch all of GTO just now
my first few episodes are from shogun-anime, talk about old stuff: date november 2001. so it's been nearly 4 years. thanks for the offer for lending it to me though. I'd probably force you to watch Futurama in return the best show ever!
I remember enjoying One Piece and someone in the channel called it One Piss oh well, at least I don't have some weird kawaii-schoolgirl/maid fetish like they do
I had far too many arguments thanks to anime vs manga. seems like people actually are downloading the anime just to bash it
some people got nothing better to do...

I just started watching One Piece and fell asleep after 1 episode (just woke up with tv on..)
Futurama s2 must be my favorite, I love family guy too !
I could probably talk all day about Futurama...
Last year I bought all the dvd's, I'm still using a bender avatar on trillian and even used the opening song as my ringtone
damn Fox for not supporting the show: I'm so tired of Simpsons, it's not cool/funny at all.

Just ran out of Bleach eps. and am waiting for my next batch of DVDS.
Bought Right Stuf's GRavitation and watched it in English. Not too bad a job on the voices but it still doesnt compare.
Think I might have to start Samurai Champloo next. Everyone has given it such rave reviews. OR maybe watch an old series like the Space Opera, Legends of the Galactic HEroes.
So much anime.. so hard to decide.... _________________
