About the other question, I really havenLt hear that they call Arashi just referring to Matsumoto... could you tell where did you hear that so I can check it???
If you listen to what the female presenter says in the clip that I'm talkig about, when she calls out Arashi... she doesn't say Arashi (in fact I don't think anyone says Arashi in that clip), she says "Matsumoto-san" or something to that affect.

To celebrate the return of the forum here are a bunch of files that I have.
Arashi in Hawaii (2002-3-30)
This is the video clip where Arashi visited Hawaii after sept 11. This was where they met with their Arashi fans directly - contains the waking up clips, nino teaching the hawaiian dance etc. Joined them together with hjsplit
Ni no Arashi clips
This is from 2004-3-31. Arashi visited a zoo and were on their way back. However there is a suprise waiting for them in the bus
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=18X26EB4
NOTE: When i made the previous clips, i was under the impression that
Nino segment was called N no Arashi. Since then I have been informed it is actualy Ni no Arashi. Could those who have the clips please add in the extra i.
Now i need some help from the forum. Someone has requested that I do some O no Arashi video clips. Unfortunately I am not much of a Ohno fan *ducks from the deadly glares of Ohno fans* and can't recalled which episode they appeared on. Could someone please pm me with the dates/ep numbers
Thank you in advance.

if you think you're having some weird looks, i'm by far worse. i'm working in shanghai.
most chinese, hate the japanese, especially recently.
i must admit that i demonstrated against the koizumi dishonest textbook issue too (but i detest/despise the bullying of the japanese residents and the stoning of japanese properties along the demonstration).
but who cares! it's only koizumi i dun like.
i blast my arashi songs too at work and sometimes even play their dvd.
you should see some of my chinese colleagues shaking their heads... haha!
yea. my mom's always telling me how chinese aren't supposed to like japanese. even tho i totally don't like the japanese for what they did in the past, i can't hate the new generation. especailly not my japanese entertainers!! so i just ignore her... hehehee. how can i stay away from arashi?? it's just not possible. so i blast my japanese songs on the computer!
But, yeah... I would like some reccomendations please... I'm an Arashi newbie, and I'd like to get the best Arashi CD's there are. Also, are there any DVD's of live perfomances?
Please help me!

Is it not possible to be a HUGE fan of Nakama Yukie (I am) and be a girl?
Gomenne...
last nite i had to rush, so i didn't get to add anything else... the fact is that i feel that it's great to have guys in our thread too... like ainangst told you before, there's one more male poster named amran, but i guessed he felt a bit out place too, so most of the time we would only see his posts in other threads. now that u're here, maybe we can 'reinvite' amran to become regular posters in this thread.
eh, i like Nakama Yukie too... in fact when i bought Gokusen, i didn't know about Arashi... i think Nakama Yukie is the best choice yankumi, she looked exactly like the anime character... heheh... good thing for liking Nakama Yukie, I end up knowing Arashi... and the result... u get the idea...

hahahaha... my parents are the same way. but i dont mind them and play japanese music (i also listen to some chinese music, and of course english too) all the time... and i guess they've gotten used to it. tho they're not the biggest fan of me watching anime/japanese live action shows... i try to hide it from them tho whenever im home. funny thing is that ive been reading a book on learning japanese and today my dad spotted it, but instead of criticizing me, he said, "oh! r u trying to learn japanese? i have some japanese tapes upstairs." sweeeet!!!
hmm, the link works now. so thanks!!! _________________

Very interesting about the "-shita" note, tsuki666. So presenters are trying to sell ARASHI?
Ooops , no I didnLt mean that gomen, I donLt know how to explain it, just that those are business/job relations (between the presenters and Arashi) so they use that way, maybe my Japanese teacher would explain better
Deragoth Thank you for the Hawaii clips!!!!!!! I had been looking for some Arashi in Hawaii stuff and only found the waking up clips before!!!!

aaaaaw! that's so cute. i love when arashi's on utaban!! nakai and ohno paired up always results in great moments. and i loved how nakai was standing up for ohno!! kawaaaaii. poor leader was getting picked on by arashi... hehehee
and sawadasmile, i'm trying to learn japanese in uni, and surprisingly my parents don't object. hehehe. but they don't want me moving to japan at all, even tho i'd wanto because their fashion industry is AMAZING!
having problem d/loading the clip. able to open the link but can't d/lod it (direct.axp or complete.axp instead of the file)

yeah, utaban is a great show to see arashi. they sometimes don't act the same way did during other times...
i'm also taking japanese class now. my twin and I kept practising our Japanese with our limited vocabulary... my parents sometimes are quite cynical about it, but most times they just teased us... like my mom said, our house doesn't sound like a Malay house at all... my dad watches indian and chinese shows, my mom watches telenovelas and korean, my bro english, and my twin and i... 100% japanese... what a multi-lingual family...
yeah..im totally agree with ya.. he is the main reason why im addicted to arashi .. since we've been talking about him back few pages.. i wanna share with you about sho's graduation news.. sorry if this has been posted before
Does anyone have the song Asu ni mukatte hoero? i've been crazy trying to find the name the first time i heard it in one of their con perf... now i'm crazy trying to find the song...
Ha ha ha!
I work at a game selling store in the U.K, and I'm walking round the store seeing if any of the customers need any help... it goes a little like this:
Me: (singing and waving me head around) Tomadoinagara... Hi, can I help you?
Customer 1: No, thanks
Me: Ok... bokutachi wa...
Customer 1 (Weird look in my direction)
Me: (Walking ot the next customer) futashika na michi sagashite, Tameraigachi ni hashiridasu.... hi can I help you?
Customer 2: No, I'm good thanks!
Me: (Walking to the next customer) kimagure na mirai kitto, Te ni ireru tameni
And it goes on like that ALL day!
LOL, seppydude... i think if i was one of the customer, i would definitely fell for you!!! JK Rowling... but that's really a great song... the dorama which they used the song for credits, Yoiko no Mikata is very sweet too...
if only i can get my 19-year old bro to do the same too... but poor him, he listens to Josh Groban even tho he's the punk/rock kind of guy... once his friend heard the song played in his player, and she asked him, "Are you straight?"
But really, pple shouldn't limit their preference in music just because of the gender inclination... l admire guys who can admit listening to artistes like Arashi, they can teach them a few things about winning a girl's heart... well, most of them, anyway...
