saw OVA 1&2 of Sekai no Senki - most of the characters are back!!!!
I really like this series (crest/banner of hte stars). IMO, its the best spacew scifi non-mecha series out there. Each of the characters have their own likable traits and the battles,... the battles are jsut quite EPIC. The whole Sekai no Senki I is just a prelude to one big battle!!!!
well, Sekai no monshou/Senki series are waht you call a love-of-em-or-hate-em series... Most ppl think they are dull and quite boring but I tend to disagree 100%, hehehe. True there are a lot of talking and not much action at the start but its all done to firmly establish the characters....
I'll be looking forward to the next eps...
anyone know if the sekai no monshou/senki novels are out in english? _________________

So have I . My dad's a big comic book fan so when he was introduced to anime he was totally hooked. He introduced us to them as well. Vampire Hunter D and Fist of the North Star have always been two of my old favorites. _________________

at least there's someone else besides me here who loves the show. rest of you: shame on you! I cannot describe the feeling when the maintheme started playing again. It's magic.
I think I'm going to rewatch s1+s2, so many names/places/races I don't remember much of it now

I'm reading one of my brother's manga called Yotsuba&!
Its done by the same person who did Azumanga. I don't know if there is an anime for this one yet, but I like the manga, its really funny
i read that one, i agree with u its hella funny.. its as cute as chiyo-chan, dumber than asuka and energetic like tomo-chan hahaha i got the 2nd manga from the expo (in japanese for like $2) im not sure if theres an anime for it but i got the soundtrack of it, they probably do but not out yet.
you know what anime i wanna finish but they stopped fansubbing? that Hanada shounen shi.. its about like a 3rd grader who had an accident then he could see ghosts, n it tells like nostalgic stories.. its pretty good but they stopped until ep.11 out of 26 i think lunar-anime used to sub it. _________________

is the anime better?
not to sound mean but i really hate this question, i really think its up to the person's taste. everyone may disagree or not and this also goes back to anime vs. manga.. why dont u try it and find out? who knows you'll like both _________________

No one ever seems to mention Crying Freeman.
That was one of the first anime series that got me hooked.
So cool!
Ah yes, Crying Freeman. It was the first anime that my parents let us watch every minute of. Usually when there was nudity we had to cover our eyes and turn our backs on the TV . But not this anime. I liked the main character, but I think that his friend was the coolest .
A few years ago my fav. anime was Rurouni Kenshin and Outlaw Star. I'm still watching Naruto right now.
I did not like Perfect Blue at all; and Ninja Scroll the series completely turned me off after about the 3rd or 4th episode. Can't remember which one but...that series could have been so good. I hate them both . _________________

I read alot more manga than I watch anime though. And I watch alot of anime .
Then you must be reading A LOTTTT of Mangas
I think there are just some series that are meant to be read and others that are meant to be watched. For example....I think GTO and Love Hina are better read, while others like Naruto, Prince of Tennis or ones has lots of action in it should be watched. Just my opinion _________________

I do read a lot of manga. I easily own at least $800 worth of manga. . But don't worry, this is a collection that I started years ago. I'm a tight-wad so the manga has to be worth it in order for me to buy it .
I like Naruto better as a nime too. But One Piece was kind is kind of 50/50 for me. I was hooked on the manga for the longest time. I would sit up stairs in the fitness center (student worker days ) and laugh my @$$ of reading One Piece . _________________

I think they were both hugely cool. Thats awesome your parents allowed it. My parents were always casual about us watching nudity on TV. But theyre pretty cool.

thats cool, my mom used to read comic books when she was young but she lost em and didnt think that theyre gonna be collector's item one day, she collects like superman and spiderman back when they used to cost like cents. so she doesnt mind if i watch anime.
-sorry i didnt mention crying freeman, but i used to love that back in the days, im tryin to collect the manga.
-outlaw star is pretty good, i like the ending theme too, if anyone saw it in cartoon network, yall should watch the original i think CN edited some of it, cuz like remember when jean and amelia (was that her name?) were friends, but in the original he was actually trying to flirt with her.
thats what i hate about watching CN they edit n stuff, specially what they did with sailormoon, though i didnt fully watch the japanese sailorstar version, but was Uranus and ___ another sailor, (man i forgot her name) were actually lovers? but they edited them as friends or related right? geez i should watch them again
-oh yeh i forgot to mention to my yaoi-fan friend, Eve.. have u seen loveless? ive finished watching the series, not sure if you've seen it. i find it very odd and boring but the manga is very interesting though _________________
