Thanks gacktsama for the clips. Watched the RIGHT BACK TO YOU performance and thought it was kakkoii! The jedi-looking lightsabers and such, the guys weren't that synchronized though. But I still liked the performance. W/ME - no comment. It just wasn't my type of performance. Aiba-chan's Itsuka no Summer~ okay so I'm being bias here and totally love the performance...I like how he danced with an uchiwa XD And Himitsu, the cute dance! When I heard Nino was going to have a cute dance, I just couldn't wait to see it XD
Anyways internet is being an ass right now and I'm constantly getting disconnected so I'll end my post now. And those who are waiting for WSS part 2 on ysi...wait longer because ysi hates me right now (and so does internet XP)
We (<b>xiaowanzi</b> and me) did try to plan a meet-up at the Summer Fest but wasn't really sure how to XD anyway we could do it one day for fans here.

Being nino's die-hard fan, his dance makes me love him even more, though I thought he looked a little embarrassed at the end of the performance.

Jun�Ls solo was very funny ... I know it didn�Lt suppouse to make me laugh, but I just couldn�Lt help it.
The Natsu no namae clip with Jun in that gold yukata is priceless... the other guys were like:
SHo�Ls Yume de ii kara seems enjoyable... I love that song, but didn�Lt like the *girl chorus* I would prefered Sho�Ls voice in the background too.
Ohno... wow, this guy is such a great dancer ... I like that in all his solos (at least Top Secret, SoSoSo, and this one) his dancing is so perfect and rythmic, and he looks so light, like he�Ls flying... great job leader!!!!!

i finally got my limited edition ONE album today and have been listening to it non-stop since this morning.
my top 5 songs:
1. Subareshi Sekai
2. Sakura Sake
3. Days
4. Natsu no Namae
5. W/Me ( for the tune not the lyrics)
as u can see from my choice, i loved it best when all 5 guys are singing together. they blend so well as a group and Arashi to me is when all 5 sings together in different parts.
Edit:
i changed my mind, i liked Kaza Midori better than W/Me after hearing it on the regular edition.
on the whole, i liked this album although my favorite album is still Iza, Now for the time being..

a little late to join in the "singing voice" discussion, but here are my thoughts ^^;;
<i>Ohno-kun:</i> of course Leader has a great voice ^^ good pitch, good control, vibrato, resonance, all that great stuff ^^ he has the best high range of the group as well.
<i>Sho-kun:</i> since his main focus has always been rapping, i don't think he got as much vocal training as the rest of the boys. he doesn't have the resonance and when he sings in the higher end of his range, he tends to wobble a bit. especially live. but he sings very sincerely and sweetly ^^ and yes, 'm biased xD
<i>Aiba-kun:</i> he actually has a pretty rich tone when they let him sing in his range. unfortunately, since most (if not all) of Arashi's fans are girls, as is the case with most jpop boys, they make them sing rather high so that girls can sing along comfortably. his voice gets reedier at the higher end and he tends to sound a little strained. but still, pretty rich tone and his voice is kind of the highest in Arashi, listening to him skreek and skrawk in real life when he's excited xD
<i>Ninomiya-kun:</i> mm, don't really like his singing voice when he's singing high, which is what he usually does for his Arashi solos. too reedy, gets too nasal. but when he's singing softer and lower, it's pretty ^^
<i>Matsumoto-kun:</i> once again with the forcing jpop boys to sing higher than they are comfortably able... one can tell with his speaking voice that his voice is actually pretty low. dearest Matsujun has a tendency to go all chipmunky in his higher ranges (Sakura Sake's "�X�̉���" always makes us squint), but he has a very pretty voice when he sings lower.
so from favorite to least favorite, my order would be Ohno > Aiba > Sho > Matsujun > Nino ^^

I have to say that I like Arashi more for their shows than for their music, cos it�s not the kind of music that I usually like listening and couse I think that the best singer in Arashi is Ohno-chan.
Nino makes it well too, but I think they aren�t very good singers, sorry it�s only what I think ^^u
I prefer them like funny guys that make me laugh a lot with their shows, they are very nice

And although it looks like I've been on this board all night, that's only because I actually fell asleep while reading the thread last night and left my laptop on!! I apologize ahead of time for when I backtrack a lot of topics.

And especially thank you to vargrant_dreams for Iza, Now and GacktSama for the Top Secret translation () and ONE performances!
And even though I probably mentioned this before, but since I've been listening to the RadioBlog at amnos.net non-stop, my Top Five ONE Tracks are:
1. Sakura Sake (makes me wanna everytime!)
2. Subarashiki Sekai (I just know the translation is going to be awesome)
3. Rain (LEE_DAH!! =^.^=)
4. Yes? No?

And I don't know if many of you guys are aware of this or not, but OHNO DOES HIS OWN CHOREOGRAPHY. That's right. For his Rain solo (which I haven't watched yet cuz YSI hates me and I have yet to open clubbox ), he actually made up his routine in 2 hours on the train! [you guys can read it for yourselves here!] I know for sure that he also made up the excellent routine for Top Secret (it's somewhere in www.amnos.net). I don't know about the rest of his solos, but we now know for sure that Leader has strong and MAD dance skills!
Ok, that's it for this post, even though I have tons more to say. I don't wanna kill you all with a MegaPost!
[EDIT: I just watched the Rain performance 3 times and I must say, Ohno-kun certainly has his own style! You can just recognize the vibe and even a few particular dance moves from Top Secret! I love how there was one moment where Leader went a beat ahead of his backup dancers! Poor boys, they can't keep up with their sempai's smooth moves! That's our Dance King! ]

hello guys.... how difficult to keep up with you... i've been looking for arashi all over the internet.. i've read interesting translations for interviews and all that stuff.... el desocupe... ... but is really fun to know more things about the boys. i'm planning to buy the album ONE... *asking-dad-for-money*
i found a lot of lyrics but i hasn't been able to find jun's solo La familia, does any of you knw here can i find that lyric???
i'm sorry i'm really sorry i know that i shouldn't depend on you (for what i have been told) but i guess that many of you have countless sites with arashi's info and all that.

violomana, i'll have to disabuse you of the notion that the members on this board translated the lyrics for La Familia. yes i did post it originally many pages ago but i did not translate this beautiful song.
i found the lyrics in one of the many websites that i visited while searching for Arashi related articles and items. Kudos goes to ames (i think that's the name of the Arashi fan who did the actual translation - my bad for not remembering).

yeah, i agree with you, most of my favorite songs are when they sing as a group not solo. their voice kinda compliments each other. so my top5 fav are:

actually i wanna squeez in yes?no? but i'll be on my top6 favorites among the songs. this is just my second arashi's album so cant really compare with the rest but i find this one better than "here we go". _________________

anyway to my comments....
i remember my reaction to fybabe's description of jun's solo... first thought wow... sexy i wanna see... and the 2s clip from the news was like..yup yup looks definitely sexy i really wanna see... now the fan cam... sorry i have to agree with the majority.... i was so corny... i really could help laughing at some bits... hopefully with some skillful editing... jun will look kakkoi in dvd version...*fingers cross*
my fav must be ohno's... man he looks hot... and i'm really feeling that nsync vibe....but then again im bias cus i love the song...
hoho... sho's dancing reminded me of tsubasa... haha must be the stick thingy... but i did like the perf...
aiba's and nino's not much to comment but their dancing was sweet...
Natsu no Namae perf... i could stop staring at jun's costume...(was this when he didnt have time to change?) all that sparkling gold...hahaha so funny... changed the whole kakkoi/slick image of the original look...and arashi definately sing live!!! prove?!! cus ohno makes a lttle mistake at the begining...jun was like what... and go up to him...ohno tries hard not to crack up....hahaha....
I must say the fancam was pretty steady... apart from when the guys moved to different stage...wah... shake like mad *feel real dizzy*
