for me i hardly watch japanese horror movies in cinemas.. usually i try not to buy scares with 8 bucks.. i may watch it if it shows on national tv. but they always show the movie at 10 something Sweat at night.. Fingers crossed

sashimi, u laugh in the cinemas while watching horror movies? oops... that's 'innovative' of you... hahaz.. Bow

i've also watched Umizaru in the cinemas and bought the dvd.. i thought it was quite a good movie... Victory! Peace!

There was once Channel 8 actually had this marathon of Japanese movies every Thurs night but it stopped after showing about 5 or 6 movies? Can't really remember. But it was a real treat for me. There was Waterboys, Onmyoji, Akakage, The Returner, GO! and some other movies. I heard of Umizaru from my junior. Kinda good movie. Yeah, jp horror movies are really funny. I remember watching Ju-on in the cinema and there was a group of girls screaming while the rest of us laughed like mad. One guy even joked about the character's name Rika. When her name was called..eg. Rika..(then one guy in the cinema went CHU!) haha. R/Pikachu!

lucky girl! haha I am never lucky in "lucky" draws. Do you guys watch jp horror movies? I love watching all sorts of horror movies but it seems that I like to laugh when watching horror jp movies. haha I think the "horror" movies are funny instead of scary. Mr Green

Hehe, ya.. I'd also won stickers(which I think was funny) of ZONE's concert tour... Also by U-weekly... there're many prizes like necklace, tote bag and so... but had only managed to win stickers...

BTW, watching horror movies makes me faint only Nut ... just a poster of the movie is enough for me... It just makes me feel scared!! My goodness.... My ex-teacher from primary school got a friend who will laugh very loudly instead of screaming while watching horror movies... wondering if there's you, hahaha... jk

My teacher told me that her friend is the only one who laugh in the cinema, hahaha, funny man hehe

lol, the poster is that potent eh? haha. Well it depends on the type of scene. But if it is funny, I will laugh! I am not "afraid" to hide my laughter lol. hehe

Btw, ER3 last episode is gonna be aired this coming sunday on ch8 I think. Cos I watched tv and there's a trailer abt this chi show that is gonna take over jp dramas. I hope they still broadcast jp dramas! Just move it to another time slot. The chi show is nice! I love the show alot..it is the date with the vampire part 3 or something like that. I remember the character Xiaoling that forces herself not to cry. Anyone ever watched this show?

lol, you must be staying in a private estate. It is expensive to get it there...and they constantly dig the ground to fix cables in the past.

You guys are so lucky! Mine doesn't have Ch 56. sigh.

A date with vampire has always made me and my bro glued to the tv last time! I was in primary school...can't remember which age though. But the show was simply great. But I really hope Ch 8 isn't gonna cut down on jp dramas. I think tv will be boring without them. Beaten

woah, thanks for the info halu! Horror movies...YAY! w00t! hehe Channel u did broadcast some korean movies at the 9pm slot last few months but I wonder why there were no japanese movies.

I wish the jp movie marathon ch 8 did in the past comes back again. Hopefully they will show Swing girls. I never saw Swing girls vcd/dvd in stores. Am I blur or is it not in stores at all? Sweat

Yeah no prob, if they are nice movies, I will share the story here. I can't wait for Pride! Style is probably one of the very few japanese dramas I can ignore. It is a rather okay show...I watched about 4 episodes and gave up. Decided to spend the time watching the chinese drama on Ch 8 instead. ER 3 is gonna end soon...that means no more Nanako! Sigh. I miss GTO a real lot! ><

sashimi, i think i saw Swing girls vcd or dvd (which i cant recall) at the orchard cinneileisure shop at level 4 , the shop near the arcade selling vcds and dvds. not too sure if it still have it though.. perhaps for those horror movies on channel u, u can share what u find funny of them if any.. that will also be an insight! Dancing

Pride is a must watch!!!! but i think the voice of the person who subbed for Halu isnt really what i expected... how should i say it??? well,,, just watch it and u will know!

haha thanks! I hope hmv or other movie stores will sell them too. Funny parts of the scary movie...lol. I will try my best hehe But really, Ju-on was the funniest jp horror movie I have ever watched (unless more movies are introduced to me). I will never forget the laughter of the audience in the cinema and the group of screaming girls! haha, they were kind of odd one out, cos they were screaming while the rest were laughing. I remember at one point, my friend beside me actually screamed! lol. And she said I was weird, laughing throughout the movie. Beaten Sweat

I usually listen to the original sound instead of the dubbed chinese version. But since you said so, I think when the show is being broadcasted, I will go give it a try at listening to the dubbed version. No wonder your nickname is Halu! Mr Green
