You see a "kiku" in the corner Wink
Oyaji's great! A funny drama about a contemporary family where things aren't going as expected, hehe! Expect more to happen as the story progresses Big Grin

Just finished watching Hatsu Taiken days ago. Saw it concurrently with Tainted Love Song. Guess Hatsu Taiken was a light and fluffy romantic comedy, that's why I was popping Tainted Love Song episodes faster and finishing it first. Now I can fully appreciate Mika Nakashima's Stars.

On the other hand, Hatsu Taiken is like the perfect antidote to Kou Kou Kyoshi. Naohito Fujiki's portrayal was a complete opposite to the high school teacher role. Have never seen Nao in comedic acts before so I was deeply impressed with Hatsu Taiken. He's more kawaii than kakoii. Joe Odagiri's acting was simply fantastic in this one too. Very much hoping to see Satorare now if I can get my hands on one. Really like the suporting casts, especially Maki Sakai and Ryoko Shinohara. And Luke the noble cat is extremely endearing. Toshihiro Nakanishi's violins makes perfect background music for this dorama, a nice change from the usual piano pieces in most soundtracks. I am wondering now why the bad reviews in other boards for this show... cos I truly enjoyed it.

Was totally depressed Sad after watching both a summer snow and a beautiful life last week. They were both good shows but I picked two tragic ones to start with. Watching shotgun wedding and golden bowl now and hope they end happier. Big Grin

Original broadcast was 16 episodes however they are longer than the ones shown on ch8 so I'm guessing jem's version will end up being 22 episodes. I based this on Romance which was also 16 eps and ended up being 22 eps on ch8.

I have to say I was rather disappointed with Moon Child. There wasn't much of a story and the pacing was quite slow.
