Wow (no, not kidding or sarcastic), mind if I ask how old you are? Don't get this wrong, but I've seen statistics around here when they asked teenagers about such things and it came out that some believe that the pill protects them from AIDS and what not. So, I'm just wondering, because that's something you don't hear often.

Maybe there is still hope for mankind.

I'm thinking of doing up a english website for since, her official website with stardust is so pathetic (compared to tokiwa-san which is some cool flash coffee theme, not that I dun admire tokiwa-san too:)

And another reason for me is that at least for me I realize it pretty hard to keep track of our fave celeb news unless you know google like the back of your hand or your jap is sugoi.

Well would recommend Lunch Queen and Gakkou no Sensei , its pretty fun to watch her protray a tomboyish persona (hee, so nobody should be accusing her of being able to do one type of role only:P)

Btw, The Unhappy Gene, despite the bad reviews is pretty good (to me at least) Looks like she is having fun int he show, going all balistic and ranting (and extremely cute) when things go wrong to all kawaii when love comes:) So do catch it.

I'm not exceptionally familiar with the japanese entertainment industry, but i heard from some people that an actress's career will start to go downhill simply because she decides to get married or have children. i would hate to think that there's actual truth to this statement. but i dunno, is there?

also, is pregnancy before marriage some kind of taboo or something? i mean i would have assumed that this would have been a big deal, say 10-15 years ago but modernday japanese society doesnt have room for outdated social customs, right? are people in japan bascially happy for her or is she getting criticism for her actions?i really hope yuko doesnt abandon her career after marriage...she is like at the height of her popularity, yeah definetely not the best time to have children, but i hope she makes a return sometime soon.

But been surfing alot lately for her info and was pleasantly surprised that her fans in china and taiwan are pretty happy for her (mainly becuase Shindo-kun seem like a pretty nice traditional guy) and are actually worried and anxious about her pregnancy.

Well i guess alot depend on the company, on whether they have good future plans for her. Well luckily her most recent two films Heaven's Bookstore and Spring & Snow are being released soon (Heaven's in the region and Spring in japan)

anyway sidetrack abit.. would be nice if their kid grew up to be like the boy in Imai.
