Kabuki actor Nakamura Shido (32) appeared at an event yesterday to promote the upcoming TV Tokyo period drama about the Tokugawa clan. Shido will play the role of legendary swordsman Yagyu Jubei in the second episode of the 3-part mini-series. The series tells of the power struggles that continued for 20 years after the sudden death of the shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, who unified Japan after centuries of civil war. According to a statement from the management agency of actress Takeuchi Yuko (25), she and Shido recently moved into a new home in Tokyo and are eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child. The couple married in June.

So far i realize I enjoy myself more in those dramas where she is not protraying the demure perfect girl - Gakkou No Sensei & Lunch Queen.
Really funny to see her ham it up or fighting with the guys , and she is especially cute with her short hair. I still cant forget that flying kick of her in Lunch Queen:P

oh ic ic.. but in STYLE, Yuko-chan is very cute.. hee! how come ur ChannelU reception has bad reception? thats weird!

If you have the time and bandwidth, maybe you can consider DLing the Takeuchi Yuko TV Specials up in D-Addicts. First special should be 500mb or so. Second is about 400mb if I'm not wrong.

@ jianne, I don't know. Channel U has always been flickering and shimmering on my home TV. Strange why its so clear on other channels and just not Channel U...
