Nah, it's wishful thinking. At least the "race" is intriguing enough to watch. I wouldn't care for the game if the Padres had clinched earlier.

The Padres clinch the National League Worst. If it's this bad next year, maybe they could save a lot of time by just having the managers of the teams in the West play "Rock, Paper, Scissors" to decide who goes to the playoffs.

Argh the Giants lost. This truly has been one of the weirdest seasons in MLB that I can recall. I think the Padres should just lose the rest of their games and try to set the lowest bar for making the playoffs. Sweat Its not like they're gonna impress any teams with any further wins.

I just heard that lineup on the radio this morning. I hate the Angels, you know my feelings about the Yankees, the Red Sox won last year, so I guess it's the WS in the AL.

In the NL, no Padres. Braves? No. Houston? No again. Leaving the Cards.

I guess it's time for me to retreat back to being an indifferent fan. Sweat
