Yow, is Indy's D that good or the Niners offense that bad??
Against most other teams, you might have seen the Colts lose a game. But lucky for them, they were facing an inexperienced Smith-lead Niners. Alex quickly realized (if he hadn't) that the Pros are different than the college. Your time to find somebody to throw to is much less. Blitzes will come from everywhere. Mistakes in passing will be exposed, usually by an interception. He's learning, which means this will be another season with a dismal record.

Those were the Iggles the Boyz was playin'. But you're right... Keyshawn Johnson was his old jackass self again.
The Benglas were busy losing to the Jags, and costing me money, tonight.
Re: The Smith led Niners... yeah, it's gonna be a long, quiet season.
Beldsoe came up with the best description of starting as a rookie QB in the NFL. He said it was like sticking your head into pop corn machine, and trying to snag one specific kernal of popcorn.
By the way, there's no way I'd put the blame for this loss on Smith. Yup, he threw 3? 4? ints. Doesn't matter. He's a rookie starting his first pro game. That was expected.
The loss came because the Niners are very banged up right now, and the Colts are one of the very best teams in the NFL. (They're my pickto win the Superbowl this year.)
That said... the score was only 14 to 3 going into the 4th quarter, so I wasn't annoyed at all.
They'll get better as the year goes on. _________________

Ah, the Iggles. I stand corrected.
Yeah, Keyshawn is from my HS alma mater, and I don't know what happened to him... I'm surprised he can put on his helmet with that fat head of his... The helmet must be size XXXL-Ego.

Yeah, the Colts apparently didn't play one of their finer games: Manning had two (?) picks himself... But their D has been pretty incredible, but I suspect not really fully tested yet...

Yup, like Geezer said, considering the score was only 14-3, I was surprised. Definitely not one of the Colts (er, Manning's) better games.

Colts putting the big hurt on the Rams now, 45-20.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....
Rams just scored.
Oh well, The Colts killed them in the 2nd half, that makes me happy
Did Manning hook up with Harrison at all in this game???
Just wondering if I missed it _________________

Yeah, you missed it.
Great catch by Harrison: got both feet in the endzone.

Caught it on the game review. From the angle they got it at...Harrison almost didn't get two feet in. Thats great he did. The guy is one talented receiver _________________
