Oh hey, just a bit of Takki-Yoshitsune tidbit to share: my DAD is actually watching Yoshistune via NHK at home right now - and he's really like WATCHING it as in he'll set it to tape if he has to work or meeting or whatever. In fact he and mum sometimes fight for the TV cos she wanted to watch CSI since she cannot understand Japanese and there were no subtitiles (my parents are goofy).
I called home yesterday and he was like, I'm watching TV, so you talk to your mother...and I asked him just idly what he was watching and he said:
"YOSHITSUNE. NOW DON'T DISTURB ME, THEY ARE ABOUT TO FIGHT."
I think I sort of fell over. XD XD Later on I got him on the phone again sans distraction and he was then telling me the story while I just wanted to get his opinion on Takki. So when I got a chance to say something (he was so enthuiastic about Yoshitsune's story), I asked him, so how's the acting in there? The lead actor any good?
"The lead actor is very good. A bit lacking in terms of physique and fighting skills maybe, but he's very powerful in bringing life to Yoshitsune and charismatic as well...I like him!"
The last bit made me fall over again - because my dad doesn't usually LIKE artistes because he couldn't be bothered with them at all (except Maggie Cheung Man-Yuk). I told him that Takki's only 23 years old and he was like waaaaait, that guy's only 23? He reckoned that Takki is young but not that young. I think he got a little more impressed knowing Takki's age now. XD XD
So I found that the last person on earth likely to be a Takki fan IS somewhat a Takki fan. Or maybe rather a Yoshitsune fan. My father = win.
And after all that babbling, I have media to share - just most recently acquired the Kamen Utaban performance and thought I'll share it. Now I'm just missing the Music Station performance. T____T *wants it!*
that is so so nice! imagine...your dad actually meeting TACKEY already hahaha!
you'll have no problem in the future when you actually take him home and say "Mom, dad, meet my fiance, TAKIZAWA HIDEAKI aka YOSHITSUNE!" lolz!

Ah, I'm from Malaysia, and I'm Chinese, actually - just that I am presently in Melbourne studying @ Melbourne University for my undergrad, hence my location is as such. But I'm Malaysian and I go home two months a year (where I then stock up on all the CDs I cannot buy out here! T&T, here I come!!) for summer holidays. Sorry for confusing you, ne ~ but I tend to do that quite a bit. Confusing people, I mean.

your story is amusing...your dad being a takki fan....this is great for tackey...i rmb reading an article and tackey mention his worries for his career and how he wants to suceed in acting because he cant be a pop idol forever...im glad to know that him putting his effort into something has brought him a different type of fan other than fangirls... ganbatte tackey!!!

i just finished watching them and MYGAWD!!! my love for TxT grew! hahaha!
i was laughing at tackey's "cho cho train" sound when he was in pain and tsubasa's fanning himself and SLAPPED the massager! hahaha! i enjoyed watching these clips!!!
as for the piano vids, ohboy! was i distracted by tackey's TOPLESS perf! hahaha! but was in AWE at tsubasa's ability to sing tooo soulfully while playing the piano, i felt i was the "JULIET" that he was singing! hahaha!
