Im looking for a drama that was showing around night time while i was in japan this summer around july 2005. I remember one scene (I couldnt really understand everything) there was a girl who was like a hostess and she was serving this old guy who was being really mean to her and he wasnt interested in her so he yelled at her and she was kind of embarrassed. Then out of know where this roman music comes on and these 2 hot guys appear and everyone in the place is dancing including the old guy and he was really happy too. The girl then thanks 2 hot guys for helping her out. The drama wasnt very serious. Thanks if anyone can help me, I really wanna watch the whole thing!

OMG!!! I can't believe somebody still remember this story. It's so long ago. I love this story. It has influenced a lot of my childhood activities coz I really wanted to be Sasuka...smart, talented, tough and righteous. Also, the skills were just out of this world...well, I was still a kid...so don't know what I'd think of the special effects now.

Still, I would really 100000x love to watch this drama again. Anyone knows the actual title (in Romanji) or in English? And what year was it produced. I want to try find it in the net. Thanks soooo much.

Okay the story has this girl where she's hearing impaired and she has this male friend who tries patiently to communicate with her. I remember once when they went out with this group of friends and sat under the night sky or something? The words "gold coins" suddenly come to my mind. I don't know why. Maybe they spoke something about that? Anyway, I'm not sure but it is something like that!

hello there, i hope that i can get some help here well, i just remember one of my fav song back in year 1994 or something is a japanese movie erm...tv series actually. its been very very long and i can't remember the movie title so that makes it the hard part....i think maybe is GTO or Beach Boys or something...(not sure) well but i remember one actor...Sorimachi Takashi n i remember there is a guy actor named Ryu in the movie...well i like the ending song...is a slow song..and although i don't understand hehe i really like the tune so, if anyone got any clue i will be very happy to find that song thanks a lot *cheers*

OK, first off, I hope this is the right area, as I looked through the rules and couldn't find any other place this would belong.

With that out of the way... To help us practice our Japanese, our teacher would sometimes show us clips from some dorama with specific words, etc. relating to what we were learning.

As I only was shown a clip, I can't give too much information, but thankfully our teacher gave us a little background info (but she would never tell us the names of them, even if we asked).

Show 1 is about a girl with alzheimers, or some similar disease. We were learning mussugu for this one, as the girl asks where someplace is, and we hear the word. After hearing the directions about going straight past a statue, then turning, she forgets (que creepy music) and goes past the statue in a state of frightfulness.


Show 2. Well, not too much, other than this. I assume it's based on a hospital. The main thing I remember is the nurse introducing herself to a patient on a stretcher, then (comedically) the patient tries to painfully bow back, introducing himself.


Show 3. A girl keeps getting strange phone calls after moving to Toukyou (pretty sure it was Toukyou, not 100%). The girl on the phone says something like "watashi wa, mary san desu". Then the girl keeps getting more phone calls, and the one making them keeps saying that she's closer and closer to where this girl is. Finally, the next phone call, the girl says she's outside of her house. The girl hangs up the phone, looks outside, and noone is there (but the wind is blowing, spooky). However, the last phone call, the girl asks where she is, and her voice begins to change as she says, "anata.. no... ushiro...."

The Dorama could be Gokusen or Dragonzakura but you check those ones out

I performed a search but I didn't find what I was looking for. I had watched an entire series of a drama some time between 1996 and 1999 that really made an impression on me (a drama that I still remember over the years, just not the name). Here are the details that I remember:

- The main woman's name was Kahori
- There was a guy that worked at some sort of train station that she fell in love with
- Kahori drove a red Lexus SC400
- Kahori was married to a rich man that she really didn't seem to love
- Kahori ended up committing suicide by jumping off a cliff while her lover and her husband were fighting (running between them off the cliff to her death)
- Her lover ended spending time in prison on the premise that he somehow had something to do with Kahori's death
- Her lover never disputed any claims of this
- The husband never disputed any of the claims either despite being there at the time of the incident
- Kahori had a daughter

Can any of you remember the title of this series? I want to buy it despite the very sad premise that it had...

There's a apparently a samurai drama with the main character being shot in his eye with an arrow... or something to that extent. I'm asking on behalf of my Bujinkan sensei who wants to get ahold of that drama but doesn't remember the name.

I think the fansubs came out as 12 files. The way the files are numbered, it looks like they put 2 "episodes" per file, so there are 24 episodes.
