Yes, he is the co-coprotagonist  because the protagonist is Tsukushi(the girl) and the coprotagonist Tsukasa(MatsuJun) And the character of Shun in very very good, he is veeeery popular and the protagonist love he veeeeery much, he appears very much in the manga, and I think in the dorama too ^^
