I liked Takuya due to Senna from Long Vacation and it's been a long while...I'm not exactly a crazy fangirl of his, but I make it a point to watch all his dramas...but I must say Engine is a little disappointing, I mean it's nice to watch Jiroh's interactions with the kids & everything, but maybe for once I'll like to see something different (no offence, just my own opinion) which is why I like Katasa Ryo from Sora Kara..his portrayal of Ryo is chilling in his disregard for human lives...ok I'm rambling....betta stop
maybe "Bushi no Ichibun" will show us a different Takuya...
and Grapefruit u're right....Selphie will be bz checking out the poster of Takuya...hahaha....

yea, i like takuya since love generation too. then i watched long vacation and sora kara furu ichioku no hoshi and i became totally obsessed wif him. sora kara is really goood! i love ryo in there. super cool and mysterious. hahaha. since then the takuya-madness stays wif me!
i guess quite a number of ppl here start likin him after watching pride. hhmmm.. then they shall proceed on to watch his older dramas and also engine aye? and of cos the upcoming movie. spread the takuya-madness

U are right if u want to see something different someone should watch sora kara then
about engine kind of dissapointed too cause I was hoping more racing but its kimura dorama I still enjoying it

Hmz.. As for me,I started falling for Takuya in Long vacation but it was his character in Good Luck which made me start the obsession all over again.Lol.The pilot image really looks fantastic on him.

i started out with Long Vacation when it aired on the local channel8 years back during the Japanese wave... that got me to like Takuya Kimura and introduced me to SMAP... and i followed thru his dramas if i can get them... Long Generation was also very nice...then i watched Beautiful Life, Goodluck, Pride, Million stars falling from the sky, Engine and Sleeping forest is inside my cupboard waiting for my sch holidays to come.

man, counting the dramas i watched make me seem old...

halu!!! I felt the same way too...except I was too embarressed to say it...hahah..I mean I think I watch Long Vacation back in like 1998....and it's been 6 years...haha....but in a nice way, it's like growing old with Takuya...from Senna to Jiroh

for me, i did watch long vacation when i was pri 5.. but at that time i didnt find him that attractive than in pride.. so i only started being his fan after watching pride! shall do wad you guys say.. will go borrow as many takuya dramas as possible to watch.

i dont mind going mise to work too!! so there will be 4 salegirls there!! haha. then we can all start fighting over the takuya pics.. haha.

Hi everyone ... I'm a newbie in jdorama ... how did I find my way here? blame it on Halu actually, Pride is not the first drama of TK I watched. I saw Long Vacation & Beautiful Life a year ago. Though I have to admit that almost immediately, I saw the unique acting talent of TK in these two dramas, it was in Pride that made me over the guy. He showed his exceptional talent in acting here ... different emotions under different circumstances ... very impressive indeed! I hope I'll get to see more of his works ... not only his dramas in the small screen & movies in the big screen but also his performances on stage as a singer.

wow... so amazing!! so many people like halu so much.. indeed i also like halu this character so much too... but I remember when I first get to know Kimura-kun when he was in Asunaro hakusho.. i dont quite like him so much especially he was wearing spectacle.. haha but when I watch the LOve Generation... i totally fall in love with him... so kakoii!!! and also the character "teppen". From then onwards.. I watched every dorama he acted until now.. he is still the BEST!!!! in my heart.. heehee

I myself discovered Takuya through Beautiful Life last year and I am in search of his and smap's work since.

ASHLEY, I saw Gift. And yes, Takuya looked very kakkoii in that drama.

I have stop watching TV program long time ago (U guys should know our SGP TV program suck)... but i saw the intro of PRIDE showing on TV and i tell myself i want to watch this show but i don't have the time so ended up i bought the VCD of PRIDE and at the same time i bought another 2 together (ENGINE & GOOD LCUK)... The best part...after watching PRIDE i rush down to HMV to get the sound track !! I am just going crazy... Sad to say i keep going back to those VCD shop but i can't get anymore VCD of his...

maybe_71 wah...u got the soundtrack...osts at HMV are so ex...actually u can try yahoo auctions sg u know...for his older dramas..some of his older dramas like Beautiful Life and Long Vacation, u really should watch..I'm a sucker for love stories...hehe..and anyway who said there's a age limit for liking Takuya

did beckham give takuya his shirt? i thought beckham gave his to shingo n takuya got guti's (he is the one always hidden in the backgrd coz everyone is pawning over beckham.. oops.. sidetracked.. haha.. sorry... i'm a real madrid supporter n i appreciate guti much much more!! haha)
