I lived in different places in Sonoma County.
And spent quite a bit of time in the Tiburon/Sausalito area.
But now that I think about it Redneck Scarface was actually arrested three doors down this Spring with pounds of the stuff and about a million dollars and a small arsenal.
The biggest bust our town ever had. Im thinking the cops blew the bust though.
In our tree lined horse farm neighborhood its so quiet and private no one had any idea what was going down. _________________

I suppose imposing a time limit on all those threads might help: if there's no responses or the request has been settled after say, a month, then the thread is deleted.
Of course, someone else could be searching for the same thing and would never see that thread... But no one ever uses the search engine anyways, ne? | see what we mean? there is no real effective way to unclutter it so we usually just end up leaving it as is...so in about a yr later, ending up just deleting all the no replied posts... _________________

Here's an idea: What if you are able to tag a thread (say remind me in six months, or something). Then when the time's up, it'll show up someplace where you can take further action.

Some of my other forums have "Wasteland" type sections, threads get flagged and are moved there 3 months after no one has posted. After that they get cleaned out regularly.

Essentially a Recycle Bin with a "empty out after x-amount of time"...
