hasn't watched ep 5 yet but I thinked Shuji has already fallen in love with Nobuko....just that maybe he doesn't want to admit it....the part where Nobuko flipped open Shuji's diary and discovered the "flower" thing is so sweet....(hope I'm not spoiling it for anyone who hasn't watched ep 4) and I think Nobuko likes Shuji too....awww...I think they make a sweet couple (in real life too, since KAT-TUN fans shld know abt the rumours)

In ep5 Shuji organizes a doubledate for him and girlfriend and a guy in their class and Nobuko, this guy wrote loveletter to her ...I think....When Shuji and girlfriend go away...Nobuko makes the pose Akira told her to get some strenght and she also looks very relieved when he appears in the aquarium to call the hospital...and the looks she sometimes gives him...dunno just my opinion but I think she likes Akira more than Shuji....
He also seems a bit more nice, and more thinking of the problems and the opinion Nobuko might have...Shuji always seems a bit as if he doesn't care what Nobuko wants...

after the date Nobuko and Akira tell Shuji that the date was worse, so he's dissapointed and leaves angrily...the next day Akira tosses Shuji after him and shows him that Nobuko is trying to learn how to smile and to be more self-confident....so again he realised Nobuko's acting..Shuji didn't
So that's why I think...Nobuko'll have a crush on Akira or has it already sooo kakkoii and kawaii....crazy Pchan...

YamaPi is so cute and funny in this episode.... He looked cute with that "heart" shaped seaweed stuck to his face. But he is like a jealous boyfriend but who cannot admit that he likes Nobuta....
I was laughing at the part where Shuji and Akira "demonstration" for Nobuta on how to act coy when a guy says he likes her.....Shuji flipped his hair like a girl and sat with his knees together...
For that moment, Shuji really really looked like a guy trying to looking like a woman....
Anyway I don't really mind who Nobuta ends up with, but I think that's not the idea of the story.... its about the reflections of youth and how they lived life.... I think it has a deeper meaning, but I am unsure of what it is at the moment...
And I really really want that school bag of Akira's!!!!
I think this is headed for one big love triangle at the end with Akira and Shuji competing for Nobuta. It seems pretty much set up that way. I'm personally an Akira + Nobuta guy. I think he cares for her more. What I think will happen is that Akira will confess his love for her first, either to Nobuta or Shuji, and that will spur Shuji on to compete for her.
This drama is kind of strange in the fact that there's always something strange or supernatural lurking in the background. Am I the only one who noticed that?

AHHH Just hearing you all talk about this dorama makes me want to cry so hard!! I've been trying to get Nobuta wo Produce for the longest time but something always manages to go wrong! Oh btw, is it normal for a torrent file to take like half an hour and only download 0.1%? Cuz that's what happened to me!! I might be paranoid...but is there a site where you can just download Nobuta wo Produce straight out without the torrents and all? I want to see it so badly I think I really am going to cry soon if I don't see it!!

Pi having a fit in his room...hilarious...could stop laughing...this was his hand that when to far (roof top scene where his hand couldnt touch nobuta)...this hand touched nobuto's face...so when he was reflecting on what he has done and he feels real embrassed....hahahaha...it was so funny....
btw do u know u can open soft subs .srt files with notepad... hope that helps...
after watching ep 5 i guess mariko's not the one that will do such things to nobuta. but i'm not 100% sure too. yeah maybe there's a twist to it? yeah really enjoyed this show very much, hope it stay as baka it is now. i don't want anyone to die! rumoured that shuji will die? and something bad might happen to akira? gosh, better not

jcrina I haven't watched ep 5 either...and I can't resist looking at all the spoilers...haha....so I guess I'm the second loser and I've been distracted by Ichi Ritoru no Namida...haha
sumoboy I think u're right, that Nobuta may look like a school flick at first look, but it's alot more meaningful than that. I really like the haunted house part, and it seems every episode, there's something meaningful there...not to mention that there's always that mysterious girl lurking around....
SuddenDrama there is always something supernatural in that drama right? that monkey hand which still gives me the creeps, that hontou ojisan and the three students' spirits whom I still can't figure out came from where..
I think what's interesting is that all three of them are changing....Nobuko is becoming more self-confident, Akira finally has some friends , and Shuji is becoming less self-centred...and yah I really hope this show has a happy ending, I've become too attached to Shuji & *konkon* Akira...

Just finished watching ep five. Damn you, bittorrent, damn you. Your right, the characters have changed and improved, it's awesome.
Sooooo funny, my room mates were like, "why are you laughing at your computer like a nugget?"
On another note, the girl who plays Mariko is rather good. I think she gives a memorable performance, though Yamapi steals the show.

We get Nobuta's percpective in a few locations like when Shuji informs her of the double date, when Shuji and Mariko are walking away, and when she tells Shuji she doesn't wan't to be popular. She has this expression and it doesn't seem like adoration or admiration but something else, almost a critical look. Like Shuji is something she doesn't wan't to become. That's why she doesn't want to be popular, maybe?
She does run away right after the first time we are presented with her perspective. Or I could be on crack. I really like this show, but happened to the nifty filtering? _________________
