well said! i totally agree~ if u guys didn't bring kattun up.. i wouldn't even make connection btw them being "more popular" and the increased # of downloads of kamen/yama...
arashi is so much more different!!~ they just care more, have fun, laugh so much, and just don't care if they'll do something that'll make them embarass~!
and they r all sooooooooo HUMBLE.
there's really no arrogant/"i'm a superstar" kind of feeling from them~! they r like real brothers.. and they all interact w/ each other...
of the past groups i liked.. there's always a couple of members that r closer and hang out more..
but to me.. arashi is like ONE UNIT~! lol~ (i'm losing myself.. donna if i'm making any more sense)~

Hello, I'm an Arashi newbie and I'm finally posting after reading a good bit of this thread. I was wondering if I could get some album recs from you lovely people becuase I'd really really like to get a couple albums but seeing as how j-albums are ridiculously expensive and I'm a starving college student I have to choose wisely. The more good tracks the better!
Also I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get their latest appearance on utaban in one big file, be it bt or streamload or whatever. Just no clubbox, cuz that program hates me, that would be very very much appreciated.

kat-tun was never hand picked by any individual johnny's artist.
johnny kitagawa picked them to back dance for domoto KOICHI in the music show pop jam where koichi did the host
yeah.....i just wanted to make it clear....kat-tun is not like the fav of kinki kids or anything....
they used to back dance for them, but in the end, they ended up dancing for themselves rather than back dance....lol
and about arashi vs. kat-tun
i guess it just how it goes....yamap and kame's unit was broadcasted on utaban for two weeks in a row, but arashi was onaired once...
in hey hey hey, kanjani8 and news were the "champs8the main guest)" where arashi only talked for 10 minutes....
no hard feelings, its just the difference is sooooooo obvious i just had to let it go lol
by the way, arashi had a hand shake CD promotion event today...
man, ppl lined up for like 7 hours just to have a hand shake....lol

its the http://movie.damoim.net sites...) but I still couldn't view the videos!!
well a little windows media player shows off and it says it's ready, but whenever i press play, it says it's buffering and then it doesn't show and goes back to the ready again. _________________

i'ts just sad that they had to compare groups though i think it couldn't be helped.
honestly, one thing i love about Johnny's eversince i watched the sportsfest ('03), is that they seem to be a one big happy family. and then news like these come out. it's just so sad.
i'm not sure if there had been issues like this before (perhaps betweeen TOKIO & V6?) but i'd like to see all of them getting along well. just like the members of TOKIO & V6 (well as far as i can see)
i've been AKAME hyped last weekend due to GOKU2 and i yet have to start with GOKU1 tonight. can't wait to see JUN!
i agree, though, that maybe someone should do something about KATTUN being equally getting attention and not to KAME or JIN only.
a lot are definitely affected by these issues and i hope it wouldn't be the fans themselves who'll end up fighting each other.
and yeah...it goes without saying (my siggy says it all ), I LOVE ARASHI. each one of them...A WHOLE LOT!

i'll admit my tummy kinda twisted when i heard that YamaP and Kame's single was above Arashi's... but i don't think we have to worry about the popularity of our stormy boys right now ^^ despite the fact that they didn't promote Sakura Sake, their last single before Wish, they did great on album sales, and they're popular with people of all ages, even middle aged women ^^ plus with Mago Mago Arashi, they have a pretty broad viewer/fan-base ^^ plus their concerts always sell out super fast, and they have lines (and lotteries!) for their stage plays ^^ like Nakai-kun was saying, they've been soooo busy (radio shows + dramas + various TV shows + lives...)...
the KAT-TUN stuff was all in good fun... i think all of the Johnnys have friendly rivalry ^^ even among Arashi they have friendly rivalry ^^;; the host was just teasing in good fun and i don't think Arashi took it seriously ^^ i mean, Jun hangs out with KAT-TUN members on shows and stuff, right? as their senpai 'n stuff... 'm sure it was the same with the other older Johnnys groups like SMAP and TOKIO 'n stuff ^^
