Im looking forward to the new drama with the Korean actress, Choi ji Woo too. Hopefully it wont be a total sobfest though.
I loved Winter Sonata, and Bae Yung Joon with her, but alot of weeping was involved. Still she was very good with a definite charm.
And she's only 30. Seems like the right age for Yutaka!

In a promising new venture, TBS will be offering Rondo, a continuing series with a joint Japanese-South Korean cast. Starting in January in the Sunday, 9 p.m. slot, Yutaka Takenouchi stars as Sho, a tough and attractive Japanese detective, who will be romantically paired with none other than Choi Ji Woo (of Winter Sonata and Beautiful Days fame).
Sho's father was killed in Korea when he was a child, and the plot will have a suspense touch as he solves a case while falling in love with Yu Na (Choi). It will be Choi's first attempt at a Japanese drama, but she will no doubt make it a ratings winner.

I've heard about this and I'm so looking forward to see it. Choi Ji woo is my favorite korean actress. She's very talented and pretty.
@Eve, Yutaka's g/f is a model name Brenda. I don't think they got married yet. And I hope the drama is not going to be sad, be positive she's in Japanese drama here..hehehehe.. (I hope so .. )

well, given how good-looking yutaka takenouchi is...com'on, as you very well know, he started as a model, too...i doubt his significant other would be an ugly duckling. it's not just the looks, as far back as i can remember...in '96 when i first saw him act in long vacation...the guy has the super smooth persona...he's like so cool...acts like the understated pimp...like he knows he has the "it factor" but he doesn't brag about it, he just exudes it.

yeah he's about the coolest japanese actor out there....he's got substance and style.
