oooooh very wrong! *giggles* translating is an incredibly hard job... timing is relatively easy if you have the right equipment!

Hi! Everyone! I am new here!
I have always loved this website where everyone chip in their thoughts on HYD. I want to share something I heard (rumor, not confirmed) regarding why there is only 9 episodes to HYD.
Originally, this slot was meant for a dorama with Okada Junichi of V6. After everything was set, the director (or someone with authority from the TV Station) changed their mind on the themesong and gave it to someone not from Johnny's to sing even it was agreed that some group from Johnny's will sing the themesong. Johhny got p***ed and pull the plug on this show. There was even a further rumor that KimuTaku's dorama in January was pulled too because of this. Therefore, to please Johnny, HYD was put together last minute. That is why, there is only enough time to plan for 9 episodes instead of the usually 11 or 12 and that is also why there were hardly any promotion before and during the dorama was on versus the promotion galore on Nobuta.
This is just something I read online but could not remember which website I read it from. So, just take this piece of news as being a rumor.
ahhhh stOOOpid rui he had to ruin the relationship with makino and tsukasa. i dunno but rui's character bugs me~ makino should be with tsukasa not rui i just want the next episode to skip. i don't want to see tsukasa saddd. makes me sad tooo aiiyayayaa.... this is killing me to know its almost over!!!

they could do a second season. they did with gokusen.

thanks lacilicili for this news. I don't really mine if the news is true or not. I was very speculating about HYD in the beginning because there is absolutely no way they gotta stick the entire storyline in just only 9 episodes. But, now it doesn't matter anymore because the rating is doing well. So, about there were hardly any promotion before and during this drama, it doesn't really matter because it didn't really affected the rating at all.

Gosh, this drama is so popular...it really doesn`t need so much PR and other stuffs....it has its own PR through the manga and Anima and those popular actors are maybe to make some more girls watchin ths drama. but I`m glad they decided to give Jun the role as Dom, he`s just so damn good at it!!
By the way, dunno if I asked this question before, but do you know if they will let sakurako take the place of Dom`s fiance?? Becoz 3 more to go and still no sign of...what`s her name again...the fiance`s name??

so good news! im finally back at school with my amazingly huuuge bandwidth. dunno, maybe everyones already gotten the epi but i figured i'd upload anyway because tu_triky was nice enough to YSI it once, and i figured maybe theres more people who cant use BT...
and also because i suffered through a SLOWWWW connection @ home.. well actually its not that slow, just slow compared to here, and then everything got slowed down when i tried to download and it made me sad. so if YSI can make some lives easier, then i'm happy.

I'm not going to read anyone's posts here as of yet b/c I'm sure some might contain spoilers. i've only seen up to episode 5, and I must say that I am quite taken by this drama! Though it is short in terms of time [episodes], it has still captured the essence of Kamio-sensei's HYD. The settings are impressive and the acting is more than what I had expected. As a mater of fact, the acting is superb. I ;ove everything that has to do with HYD, and as much as I am sad that i have only 4 episodes left.. I'm still glimpsing for a tiny hope that they'd surprise us with a second season to finish up the rest of the events in HYD. Gawhh.. my obsession over this series has taken on a new level..
