I finished watching ep.8.... so sad as you guys said, but it's quite sweet too!!
I never imagined that Ryochan can ever been such this cute in my eyes! Actually, he's so cute with the strange character in this drama!!
Ayachan is so great! She can pretend to make it simple, but everything is touching.....
Normally I watch some drama based on actor, but now... this actress is the best!!!!
BTW, I'm not really understand Japanese. Can anybody give me some more idea about what'll happen in ep.9???

Episode 9 Summary
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:
Aya is transfers to a school that is catered to the handicapped and the mentally chanllenged. The school is build wheelchair accessible and she is able to go to places by herself without the help of people. To be able to go anywhere by herself whenever she wanted, Aya is very happy... However, her father has noticed that Aya is not as happy as she says she is... She looks lonley.
Her mother thinks otherwise, saying that this is what Aya has decided so she is happy.
On the day of Rika's (the youngest daughter) celebration in entering Elementary School, Aya's dad brings Asao (Ryo) to the celebration. It has been a long time since they met... At the same time.. Aya's mother gives Aya a cellphone as a present.
On the first day of school, Aya feels very nervours but works hard to not express it. Aya and her mother are welcomed Madoka (I think she was the girl that Aya's mother met a while ago, sorry I skipped watched the episodes). Madoka tells Aya that one of the rules of this school is that You must do everything yourself as much as possible, but there are volunteers to help you if you really need it.
Aya's roommate at school (I think it's a bording school kind) also has the same disease as her but is one year older then her.
Two month later, Aya is taken to see Dr. Mizuno. Aya is told that the results of her checkup is not good. She is told that if this progresses, eating solid food may become a problem. And in affect is very prone to getting sick.
2 months later, while Aya's friend's are at the library doing research for their cultural festival, they see Akko studying hard for exams. Akko tells them that Aya hasn't been herself lately. Hearing this, Aya's friend calls up Aya and invites Aya to the Aquarium...
Oh I finally understand the rain scene and why Aya's mother got mad at Asao... Because they were caught in the rain... And since Aya is now prone to getting sick... Her mother was mad at Asao in indangering her daughter's health... I can see why Aya's mom got mad at Asao
Reading this is making me cry sooooooooooo much...
aww thats so sad but it wasnt his fault that it started to rain. well..... I teared in episode 8 even thought I dont understand alot of it. it was so sad I want to watch ep 9 and see what happens

I know it's not his fault.. But I can understand why the mother would get mad.. I'm not a mother myself... But I mean in Aya's case.. getting sick could be very bad.........

Thank you teru_teru_bouzu!!
BTW, how can you find the story of ep9?? from the website??
(I just skipped it coz I know I can't understand haha)
Asou-kun is too pity! It's not his fault anyway!!!
hmmm... I went to the trailer part~~ It has the summary of the next episode there........

I got my episodes from d-addicts website. I only have the raw ep. of 8, i cannot wait for episode 9. Only three more left. It is a good drama, but very sad. I think Erika does a great job as the main character.
Ep 7 didn't seem as good but Ep 8 more than made up for it. It was one of the best in the series so far, and that's saying a lot for a drama that's been consistently great. I loved the "bridge" scene with Asou and Aya. It was really beautiful. The reprise of "Sangatsu no kokonoka" was a nice touch, too.

Normally my favorite dramas are funny ones, because I laugh to laugh.....I`m a very happy person. but me to I really like 1 ritoru and I`m not ashamed crying...I cry during watchin` disneyfilms...always... one of my dark secrets...
After watching for 8 episodes, I come up to the idea that this drama should change their name!!!
It ought to be "Tons litres of tears!!!!!"
I still confused with myself, coz I always hate this kind of story, main actress with little role of actor, tragedy, painful, sad, serious......
One litre of tears has everything I hate.
BUT I DON'T KNOW WHY I HONESTLY LOVE THIS DRAMA!!!!!!!!!!!
Never been like this weird before, can't stop myself from downloading clips every week, seeing and crying alone with the series.....
OMG... IT'S TOO TOUCHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YYYY_________________YYYY
Got some diagnosis for myself, maybe I just discovered that I'm masocism who wants to hurt myself by the touching and bloody sad story!!!!!
BTW, really thanks to sasse and teru_teru_bouzu for the story.
It really complete my understanding!!!
Cheers to all you guys, only 3 episodes left to go and cry!!!!
yeah, very sad and can be quite depressing at times thinking about it. The story is meant to be like that and progress to a darker and more sad level. But i'm also looking forward to the last three episodes of it. Hopefully by x-mas we will complete the series, sub'd.

Yes, yes, the story isn`t a happy one and Aya is going to die so....of course a sad drama and if her desease continues to make that bad progress.... poor Asoukun

Yes, that`s right, poor Aya, but maybe for her it`s better to die, than living with this desease for such a long time...I guess if I would have this desease I would have thought about killing myself before it becomes so worse but she fought until the end, poor, brave Aya

yeah similar to what Ayase had to deal with in her role in Sekai no chuushin de...
and Aya's family, in what they had to cope with in 1 litre of tears...
i thought the acting was very good....less of a romance story...
only 3 more episodes left.....hmm....I think it's so hard for me to watch Aya become bedridden and have difficulty talking....having to use a board to convey her feelings..... I thought it's very ironic how Haruto and Aya only start to become friends after she got the illness..... I think people pass through your life for a reason and in this case Haruto will prob learn something from seeing Aya being so strong in fighting her illness.....

and sasse...if I had that kind of illness, I probably would wanna die too... but because Aya fought to the end, that's why it's so inspiring ^^

wow only three episodes left.. i wasnt sure how many there were total but i thought it'd be around 10-12 i guess... gosh...its gone so fast... poor aya... i know that if i had a disease lika tht i think i wouldve just given up.. especially after people resented me for it, just for being late for class, i could not believe that... and her lil brother... man.. her younger sister really stepped it up though and that was really great. gosh.. the family scenes really get me too.. this is a really great show...
anyway im pretty sure this is my first time posting here... so yoroshiku minna _________________
