If Ichi doesn't have a sad ending, I think it will be weird, I don't know why but all the excerpts from the real Aya's diary...if they wanna bring the message across....that no matter what, don't give up on your life...maybe the ending should be like real life...just my opinion.....not that I will be unhappy if in the end, a miracle does happen.....I mean reality is hard enough....we know the real Aya die, maybe the fictional one doesn't have to.....

Haruto in the rain with Aya? reminds me of first episode..hopefully Konayuki will be playing in the background....poor Haruto...scolded because he went out with Aya...I guess it's just the maternal instinct of a mother....

Maybe it also has to do with Asoukun falling in love with Aya, I mean, in japan you only date your Boyfriend/girlfriend....so maybe she's so angry with him because she want to protect him....from making himself unhappy....
u mean the "she" as in Aya's mother right? she probably wants to prevent their relationship from going further since it's going to cause sadness to both of them.....but I'm so glad they went on a date together

hm.. already speculating about ep. 9.. Well, I can't say anything except that I really want to see them together, comforting each other. I agree with minna-san, Aya's mother maybe try to protect both of them, so they will not "suffer" more. Demo, I think Aya's mother should also feel that with Haruto-kun beside Aya, she will have more and more support for fighting her life. Moreover, she can spend her time with more of happiness, cause she has someone who always there for her...
Still, i'm always eager to hear dialogue that Haruto-kun's view of life changed beacuse of Aya. In my imagination, if that scene exist, it'll be a beautiful one.
*sigh* why my connection are very slow these few days? I haven's watched ep. 8, and it kills me..
2 episode more! I think the ending will be the sad one. It's impossible for jdorama to show up an end that doesn't suite with the whole story. The atmosphere that's been build are going to a sad end. That's my opinion.

it really wasn't his fault the rain and I think that Aya's mum is intellegent enough to know that...she wouldn't get soo angry...I think...

Yes, I agree with you. Having Haruto in Aya's life is such a positive thing for her, and I do hope her family sees and accepts it.

The ratings for Ichi Littoru no Namida is going up with every episode. That is a great thing, no??!

and yes, having him in her life has got to be the greatest gift... because i remember in one of the earlier shows where she cries about how she could be in love and pursuing a relationship by then if the disease hadnt chosen her.... but this way.. she can be... with the sweeter guy... gosh... wahhhhh.... well yea of course im partial to haruto
and anyway... i would think that it'd be harder for his family to accept them... well hard for both families i guess... but poor haruto will have a tough time in the end... gahh i cannot figure out why i keep watching this show, its soo heartbreaking !!! _________________
