Oh my, I absolutely love Oguri Shun, and I couldn't stand Tsukasa's personality in the first eps, but now he's so adorable >_<, lol, really, dorama makers must be psychologists or something, lol _________________
It annoys me that I have to wait for the English subtitles Although, it's definitly worth the wait I've been getting the latest subtitled episodes, and I really like this show!

Dropped from 19.7% from last week to 17.3% for this week YIKES!!! Is the ratings the main factor to determine a special or a 2nd season to this drama?
I think the ratings dropped is probably due to another broadcasting shows on another stations or because of the earthquake reports. Another might bethat there are too much misunderstandings between Tsukasa and Tsukushi that viewers can't BARE anymore. Only Ep.4 got the highest rating of ALL and I BET you all know why!!!

ok, i found out that ntv, who was like tbs' great, green competitor, was trying their best to pull down the ratings for hyd. and they aired harry potter 2 at the same time as hyd 7! and as if the viewers aren't already shaky enough, nature pits against it with foreboding earthquake warnings all over the poor 1 hr show... and as if these aren't enough to sink the ratings, japan just have to have their annual executive dinner on this very damn friday, so wiping out nearly all the white collar worker fans... plus hyd is already a natural born loser with its air time on a friday night at a time where everyone's powdering their noses for the action after dinner...
sigh... poor jun...
i read that alot of japanese fans themselves are also watching hp 2 and taping hyd7 to watch it later. but of course, the viewship count is lost anyway...
maybe i should be more optimistic instead... with everything going against it, 17.3 is pretty good, i guess. i mean without all of those obstacles, who knows, maybe it'll hit 25? ^^
and worse, nwp is 18.0. it finally beat hyd... once... but damn! that's real nasty! coz to me, (ok, i didn't watch nwp), the cast of nwp can't even come close to hyd cast standard!! i'm NOT biased here! i've seen kame's kindaichi and gokusen 2 and i'm bloody NOT impressed... and pi is kewt in other doramas but... acting wise, he's very much a baby...
being a jun fan, i really feel bad for him...
and for this season, BOTH kame and pi have been submitted for best LEAD actor award for nwp, and jun is only going for the best SUPPORTING actor award for hyd!!!!!!

i was really depressed for jun... i found out that hyd rights were bought by mao inoue's company, so they stated in the contract that mao WILL BE THE LEAD in the show... poooooooor jun!!!!! he's already got a best supporting actor award for gokusen 1 anyway, when will he ever run for best lead??

i heard it was because NTV aired Harry Potter at the same time as HYD 7 to try to pull their ratings down. grrrr. i don't get why viewers are watching Harry Potter when they could just buy it on DVD _________________

Damn, it makes me wish that all of us international fans could watched it live as it's aired so we could boost the ratings!
Jun's a supporting character?! That's so weird! I mean, I can totally see why Mao's the lead since it all revolves about her, but if both Kame and Yamapi can share the lead, why can't Jun and Mao?

Using Harry Potter is cheating! Plus Nobuta's getting soooo crazy, as much as I love that show I still want HYD to beat it. I just love it too much. Awful clothes and all.

Me too, I love HYD .... dunno why, maybe because of Junchan, but I must admit....I like Nobuta because of Pi and don't really like kame in this drama....and I didn't watched Gokusen...I want to, but I have no time *makesherdecisiontogotoDVD-rentshop*
But really I think the ratings should go up!!! Why do they put HP2 at the same time as HYD....really for that HYD ratings go down?? Why the hell are they doing this???
