Amazing. On the same page even! -_- --> no reusing words. Anyway I think some words have been reused over time already, but I guess no one wants to check the whole topic each time Bleah

Yeah... I'm too lazy too. Beaten

Since we started a new game, I guess it's ok. Still... new words are better, since this is mostly used for learning new stuff. Smile

nh [΂] basashi; (n) raw horsemeat dish

I'm trying to remember that one, so I don't end up eating it. hehe

it's actually pretty tasty... it sounds gross but it's just like sashimi... raw fish. Very thin slices. it's good (als with soy sauce)

Actually eating raw "mamals" isn't a strange thing to westerners either right? Think of half done beef... in Europe (at least I know of belgium and holland) we also have "Filét Américain" which is raw beef paste, supposedly from america but it's not. I don't know if you actually have that over there in the US... (/edit or canada)

Thanks for the info. Smile

I've heard about uncooked beef. One of my friend even order some in a French restaurant once. It was all shredded and full of spices. He said that was the best thing he ever ate, so... Sweat I'm a little bit scared of this thing though. I hear all those horrors stories of people who got sick eating half cooked hamburgers, because there's some kind of bacteria in the beef. I think it's E. coli. bleh

If it's good, I might try it someday. The Japanese kitchens are usually very clean, so there's less chance of getting sick.
If I remember correctly, I think they sell Ice Cream with raw horsemeat too, in Japan. Head Scratch

hehe... they invent all kinds of things in japan, luckily not all make it into mainstream products. But there's just some things that can be eaten raw without any danger and other things that just need to be cooked. If it's served raw in a restaurant (purposely Wink) it's really safe. Raw eggs are also quite common in japan actually, or just partially boiled ones. I was really scared to eat one (also because in Holland you can't eat raw eggs because of salmonella), but I did and it wasn't that bad. At least - I kept it in hehe Beaten

Oh yeah. I've seen people on TV, who ate raw eggs on rice for breakfast. I was a little bit scared of salmonella too. For them anyway. Mr Green

Thanks for . Found more stuff with this one. One of the many reasons I don't fully trust edict. Puppy Dog Eyes
