View topic - Nobuta wo Produce

I thought there were a lot of defining moments in this one as i analyze it. Akira's loyalty to his friends shows that he is willing to sacrifice for Nobuta and Shuji and stick up for them. He puts his feelings aside for his friendships with them. Even when Aoi confronts him about it, and says we are all selfish, he stands by his own words and tells it like it is. Shuji regains his popularity and courageously stands up to his classmates who seem to disown him, but he does so for Nobuta's sake, showing his value and care for his friendships. Also, Shuji, as prideful his character is, he calls out to Mariko-chan and thanks her face to face. I respect and can relate somewhat to Mariko-chan's situation, facing tough circumstance but courageously moving on. Sometimes tough times shape our character and how we become stronger and more sympathetic towards others that are suffering as we have. anyways, Nobuta, to be deceived by Aoi, and then forgive, which wasn't easy at all, takes a lot of courage, sympathy and good character. It would be easy for her to hate Aoi and hold a grudge for the rest of her life. But instead as she endures her pain and loss of a friend, she forgives which takes a stronger person and better person to do. Aoi, i think it is natural to hate her character and despise and make fun of, easily, as we did on a lessor degree than the other bully girl, forgot her name their, starts with a "B". anyhow, a part of me feels sympathy for Aoi, even though what she did directly was wrong and disrespectful. There is a reason why the director/producer put her character in and to show something. Aoi stated that she hated Nobuta, and it was hurtful for Nobuta, but she wanted control, and was into "testing" people and wanted to be remembered, probably respected. Not to get over analytically, but Aoi's character is definitely one of the lonelinest of all of them. And manipulation is her way of gaining some ones trust and then breaking it, for some reason, probably fear of being actually liked or trusted. Confused is where i see Aoi, and i suppose i feel pity for her character, not hate. I am not in her defense, but she did confess afterawhile, but her actions have ruined her trust in all of them. I suppose at the end, when Aoi was talking to the vice-principal lady, Aoi showed some regret, guilt and some remorse for her actions. I wonder what ep 10 and 11 will reveal in some of the other characters like Mariko and Aoi. But obviously we want to know about Shuji's situation and when he will leave and how that will affect the three amigos.... hehe

I think i enjoyed watching ep 9 and seeing the entertaining and humorous special episode.
