I bought Engine from TS for about 16 (I have the membership card), and halfway through episode 6 there was this weather report, in Japanese no less, flashing insanely on the screen declaring that there would be "heavy rain" that night. |
like i've said ~~ the only REAL ORIGINAL is Japanese version's DVD ~~
lolx ~ those with chinese sub are all from Taiwan and M'sia ~
so they're not original ... just that they have a company which comes out with a boxing and translations sub ~
and frankly speaking .. we gotta depend on them to be able to buy the vcds ... hahaz ~~ (i really can't believe if i'm buying japanese original dvd like the way i buy vcds here ... i'll be broke ... ) _________________

Hahaha cause I always stayed up late when I was a kid, and Channel 8 had this Fuji Hour thing every monday from 10-11pm. I remember thinking 'this guy with long hair is pretty cool'.
And of course I'm watching more Takuya dramas! In fact, I have watched Love Generation, Beautiful Life, Hero, Good Luck, Pride and Engine which means practically all of his classics. And I finished all of them in 3 months! I amaze myself sometimes hahaha

hi dirtysweet!
heh my first drama watched was long vacation too!! classic!! you watched it when you are only 9 yrs old? hmmm i forgot what i was into when i was 9 yrs old... perhaps is like ashley... into cartoons watching kids central everyday...yup sometimes the quality of the vcds are really sucky.. there's loud alarm suddenly for warning of earthquakes and stuffs *i had to lower the volume as i got startled by that alarm*
its so sad that there's no where is singapore selling this drama... during that time is was PSLE for me so had to skip a couple of episodes... and i still remember watching the last episode until like 1 am++?? this drama had made me into a jpop/drama lover too!! |
YAY LONG VACATION! I know this drama has the most kickass soundtrack ever, and I really really liked the theme song! It's so sad I can't find the VCD now, I like forgot almost everything about it cause I watched it like 6 years ago! And cartoons weren't really my thing, but I liked Pikachu though haha!

I love the Takashi-Nanako pairing in GTO. They were one funny bunch. As for Love revolution, Fujiki-Makiko pairing made me melt. Takuya-Takako Matsu pairing made me feel alive. Ryoko Hirosue-Takenouchi Yutaka pairing was nice. These were the 4 pairs that really left an impact in my mind. And of course the recent Jun-Inoue pairing. haha!
What's yours then? Those that made you remember them for years? _________________ Suffering from HYD withdrawal sympthoms... ><!!!

The weirdest thing is that even Kinokuniya doesn't stock Jap DVDs! I went there and they had tons of Manga and everything but NO DVDs.

Firstly those original Japanese dramas do not have any subs at all and secondly one box set will be too expensive. If I am not wrong, it will cost $200SGD per drama.
