OHHHH!! this is SOOO random but i hafta tell my random HYD story.. yesterday i went to my faveee ramen place of all time... and found out that there's a japanese supermarket (really TINY and expensive of course) pretty close by.. so i had to buy some stuff jus CUZ.... you know?! anyway, they had a magazine w/nakama yukie on the cover... and some newspapers and anime compilations... no other mags unfortunately

BUT they had some of my fave childhood asian candies... AND they had THESE... and so i HAD to buy one of each!! i am so gonna eat them while eating HYD too

i was so excited i circled it in red i can still hear rui's voice...

"daifuku?!" that was the most random move on his part tho, i gotta say.



(i had no idea that daifuku were just mochi tho.. or are they?!?! guess ill find out when i eat em!!!)

yeah! i think its just mochi! but i didnt realize that that was what she was eating... and that that was what daifuku was... silly me

I know! But then again, the boy likes to eat grated apples from a bowl with spoon... AND he believed Domyoji when he told him that apple eating makes you bald. He may be hot, but I dont' think he's the brightest crayon in the box.

Thinking about that scene reminds me how RANDOM it was to see F2 dance the Cha-cha.

geez... it's REALLY his own voice... he's got this sexy, unique vocal texture ne...
mago happened like earlier in the year... now he's probably practised that sentence to perfection... and it's only SEVEN words, how difficult could it be? i could even sing and memorize a goddamn whole hindi song with near perfect prrrrrronunciation in a week... lol!
i mean dom probably only had this sentence in his head repeating a zillion times as he's looking at makino...

i know.. it was wayyyy tooooo rushed and wayyyyy tooooo crazy. lol. yea the whole apples thing is pretty weird...

lol the cha cha... yea that was great. the f4 are soo cute. ^^ i remember really not being a big fan of the other f2 but they really do grow on you...

are you sure? i was watching it w/a few people and we rewinded it a few times.. not even taking into account the mago episode, but just the voice. i thought it was him at first but then after the, like, 8th time, we all thought that it sounded off. but quite close.

then again if he kept on practicing it, concentrating on the intonation, and considering that its chinese, perhaps thats why it sounded a lil off. who knows.

and thats true, w/enough practice im sure he could get it right. like me rapping arashi songs. so if it WAS him... then, i def prefer him speaking japanese but it was cute nonetheless. i liked when he introduced himself in chinese in one random show i dled awhile ago... forgot what it was.... but it was kawaiii

even that mago chinese TEACHER'S pronunciation is OFF! she's probably from guangzhou, or somewhere else... difinitely NOT beijing... duh...

Totally agree!! i know Beijing Mandarin tends to stress their tones higher more like -er in the words. The teacher who taught them is definitely teaching them Mandarin, but not Beijing Mandarin.

As for Jun's Mandarin in HYD, ok, after hearing so many times. I'm tired, it does seem like his voice, But, I think he went back to the studio and recite it over so many times to get it right after filming that particular scene. His voice does seem out of place in that particular scene with his English and the Mandarin pronunciation of "Peking Duck"/ "I would like to eat Peking Duck", it seems like two different scene tones.

Hi! Everyone!!! I have been looking for the scene where he has the big, bling, bling on the butt scene for days but could not find it. Can someone point out where is it in the dorama I can find it. I have been forwarding and backwarding so much that smoke is coming out of my computer. Thanks so much for any help anyone can provide.

about Jun�Ls chinese sentence I really think that is his voice, coz he talks the same in the mago mago eps when they were in China learning that languagge.
In hana yori dango, it sounds a bit rare, like if he had been practising that sentence a lot of times, and said it mecanic-ly, but not bad of all :/

the sentence that didn�Lt like me nothing was when spoke in english to makino ,that was more rare than the chinese-sentence, for me :3

that chinese sentence is definitely spoken by jun himself. jun's voice has always been like that. and he certainly doesn't need a dub over just for that one sentence. he probably learnt it in mago chinese. the mago chinese can't pronounce anything with a 'h' in it.
