You'll love the drama Mr Green
Rena is the lead female in the movie. She one of the main student who has issues that revolves around her past.
Nana was in the drama special. Not sure if she was the main character or not....haven't watched that one in a while. I'm actually downloading GTO again hehe

Basically the same thing is....Onizuka aiming to be #1 teacher in all of Japan, he is dedicated in helping out his students, the main character's name are the same. Some of the same event in the anime & manga happens in the drama. Other then that....some of what happens is completely different, which I think is good...if it was sticking too close to the anime or manga....it be like watching and reading the same thing all over again Sweat

I'm a big fan of GTO; drama, manga(GTO/Shonan/Bad company), and movie. I think manga is the best!!! And movie is the worst!!!

In drama, it's really great!!! Takashi's so cool as Onizuka. He's the one who can be pure and funny teacher onizuka. For no. 1 in dramas rank can tell you. Although the story line doesn't tell about all background like manga, but it's quite good that we can know how onizuka and story is. Try it!

The movie is not good. I'm so disappoint in it!!

GTO's fine as is, sequel won't be as effective (Gokusen 2 being a good example. Still a fine jdrama but there's less tension and build-up)

Moto Kare felt too much like a sequel to Summer Snow IMO.

I wouldn't mind seeing more sequels to Trick, Beauty or Beast or My Little Chef tho!! :fingerscrossed:

Spoiler request alert!!

Request ending synopsis to GTO Special Episode.

Hello jdorama fans. This is only my 2nd post. But I always wanted to ask this question. I would like to know the ending to the GTO 13th episode. I bought a DVD version awhile back. Was watching it but it ended abruptly when Onizuka was trying to "propose" to Fuyutsuki. Arggh. Frustrating for me. Can anyone tell me what happened at the end? Did he really proposed to Fuyutsuki sensei and how?

GTO has continue to be my favorite jdorama series. I don't see a necessity for GTO2. I think it would ruin or taint the magic of the original GTO. IMHO.

thx,
Minh
