Luvnickie,
i'm still at epi2. i'm finding it a bit hard to understand since it's chinese-subbed. not so good with mandarin. haha. so i got the softsubs, but it's kind of a nuisance, reading the soft subs while watching the chinese-subbed vid. haha. the things i do for kame... haay....
it's really good. i like the complexity of the story. you can just feel the characters' depth. the character make-up and attitudes are so real. this is definitely one of the best jdos i've seen so far. haha. imagine that! and i'm only at epi2!!! (and no, this is not because it has my love kame in it, although that actually has a big part)... *sneaky sparkle in eyes*
raei,
the vobsub thing, is it only for those from torrent? can i use it for the thing i wrote above, even though the vid is already chinese-subbed? there's got to be a better way of enjoying nobuta than scrolling through the english soft subs while watching the chinese-subbed vid. i'm so desperate!
natni,
the seishun lyrics were posted at page 69, i think. or maybe 68. hehe. anyway, just look for it, it's there somewhere. somebody posted the the edited one. ignore my unedited seishun lyrics post. and excuse my bakaness for posting it. haha.
kaghome,
welcome to the thread!!! enjoy!!! let's spread nobuta love!! haha!
ok,i'm off to review for my super super super hard exam!!!
aargh.... no nobuta for me til tuesday eve. why lord god?!!! why do i have to go to school???? it distracts me from more important stuff!! (like kame and nobuta and more jdo) hahaha. _________________

yup, teh vobsub should work. the only problem i can see you running into is a lag between subs and audio/video. but i doubt it, since of course, all videos of episode 1 are going to be the same length .. i could go on about this being my own devils advocate, but to sum it up no hehe, you shouldn't run into problems. but as i said before, to make it work, just make sure that the filenames match. that way the programme knows to put the subs onto that file =).
good luck with that, any problems, don't hesitate to ask. =) if you can download the raw versions at d-addicts, that way the chinese subs won't be in the way. =)
yo gray!
in the spirit of wanting to help you spam...
i'v been wanting to ask you...
can i kidnap your sig?
please...
so lovely
yeah sure! no prob =) it my pleasure

heheh!! how i wish ^^ im just lagging with my replies so no choice but the novel-like posts
anyway, prolly we can all have a choral grp or sth.. all crazy for memorizing & singin seishun amigo ^^
hehe! i wonder how we'll sound like tho not knowing much japanese actually ^^
hm. which reminds me..
i love pikame's perfs of seishun amigo esp when they show the crowd also dancing their way on the chorus part! its crazy mann!
makes me dance my 'hands' as well
the fans look sooo much into shuji to akira's perfs
evil_zai> do u have it chinese hard subbed? u can still watch the english soft subs as raei said and u'll have no probs by following her guides.
just in case the english words are covering the chinese subs which makes characters messed up/ overlaps and u dont understand a thing, u can always adjust the location of the soft subs a lil bit higher/lower in position if u use BS PLAYER.

i know i said i was gonna review, but what the heck, i couldn't resist. *inserts evil maniacal laughter*
raei, ||gray||,
thanks for the help!
does the video file have to be .avi or doesn't matter?
i can't download the ones in d-addicts since they're in torrent. torrent is not allowed here at our dorm. waaah... have to settle for direct downloading... haay.. _________________

evil_zai>> it doesnt matter if its avi or whatever vid format u got
but of course if its RMVB or RM, u should also have another extra prog
to watch the vid along the subs> u have to have real alternative
(well for japanese vids its very rare to come across RMVB stuff anyway usually its in downloaded chinese dramas)
anyway, can u dled thru CB? i dont use torrent as well.
i kinda dont like the idea that its p2p somehow.
its kinda hard to find complete drama eps in direct dleds

hey, i know this is off topic. but... does anyone have a customized MSN emoticon for "kon!"? haha, i've been searching and got tired going through pages and pages of emoticons. and does anyone have a good screen cap of "kon"? please and thanks. haha.
soo... i'm guessing there's no english translation of the book available? ahh well, i'll just have to learn to read japanese. which means in about ten years i can pick up the book and start reading. haha.

Thanks |gray|. Haha, scanlations are good too =). Haha
I just realized that i haven't introduced myself to the forum. well, for i'm raei, a canadian.. EH?! (haha, i actually don't say "eh".. some canadian i am). i was born in the philippines and moved to canada when i was 3. i recently went back and loved it there. i need to get back there, and maybe make a stop-over in tokyo.
haha, i discovered the wonderful world of doramas by accident actually. my friend was into them, but hasn't seen them for a while, when about a year ago, he stumbled onto a forum talking about orange days! haha, they showed it to me, and i guess you knwo what happened at that point....
haha, i outdid them with my doramas. haha, they say and i quote "and i thought we were the nerds". haha, at first i stayed loyal to the actors i knew at the time: kimura takuya, koyuki, satoshi tsumabuki. then i started to expand. haha, actually just over this past week, i've already watched two doramas. haha. it's kind of getting me behind on homework though (hehe, that's a great emoticon).
anyways, yeah, that's me. minna-san, hajimemashite. (i've no idea if i'm using that correctly).

i went back just this summer. i stayed in cavite. mostly in imus, my dad's hometown. but i loved it in ternate, my mom's hometown. although it's like a small farm town, i loved it. life was simple, no cell phone, no worrying about what's happening at school (being president.. hehe), i walked aruond the city, and people recognized me from when i was little. it was nice.
i got to tour around the historical sites in manila too. i truly rediscovered my heritage. AND the wonderful shopping malls i need to go back sometime. even though i've spent only a fraction of my life there, i truly felt at home. =).
P.S. (i edited)
haha, my mom also recently informed me that i'm part japanese. 1/16, i believe it was. haha, i wonder how that happened, that would've been before the war.

wow, what a small world we really do live in. haha. it's nice to see someone who knows where cavite is. haha, i've never heard of those malls @.@ haha, i did the standard tour of the SMs, Festival Mall, Alabang Town Centre, etc.. OK. Apparently Alabang Town Centre is supposed to be like a celebrity mall, BUT THERE'S NO AIRCONDITIONING @.@ haha.
my relatives took me to this comedyclub in las pinas, it was hilarious. i love how i can live in the rural ternate, and then be in hustling bustling manila in no time. (well.. not no time, but you know what i mean).
haha. anyways, thank you all for your warm welcome *bows*. haha. i look forward to chatting with you all.

I LOVE ATC!!! are you kidding me?? That's like the nearest mall to my house and I'd spend saturdays on end in that place.. you must be hanging out in the promenade hence the absence of AC... it is a celeb mall. i used to see alot of them who live in the nearby ayala alabang.. some of em are classmates from dlsu.. that comedy club is either laffline or punchline.. i forgot the name... but anyway..
i digress greatly..
JE Perf is among the johnny's entertainment boys.. who had the best acting performance this year.
