I've got a question about the song's title; why is it Seishun Amigo? I'm mexican and my deduction or translation to the title is something like: "Youthful Friend", or, "Youth friend". Or does the word "amigo" means something else in other languaje? Besides, they say "SI" (yes) in the chorus. Why do they use words in spanish?.

I don't claim to be an expert on japanese culture, but my best guess would be that the writers of the song (who are actually swedish), just put it in there for some flare. just like a lot of japanese songs have english in them. oh my.. like "melody - realize" (theme from dragonzakura), oh my it's practically jenglish (what would the word for a hybrid japanese-english language be?... i've also heard "engrish", but i'm supposing that's for broken engilsh.). i'm getting off track. yeah that's my best guess. haha, i love the song though. so catchy.

Waaa, that's great!!!! it feels so good to hear a little of spanish in a japanese song , the first time I saw Shuuji saying "amigo" I was like: "Oh my, that's spanish , I love this song!!! " That's one of the reasons I love it, and well, the ryhtm, i just can't get it out of my head, it's so sticky!!
Btw, I was checkin Shuuji's bio and we have the exact same birthday !! I just love him!! jeje.

REAL ALTERNATIVE.. well its not really a program but a codec ^^ sorry
it makes RM files playable in other players besides REAL PLAYER like WMP, winamp, BS player, GOM player, DIVX and all other u can think off
basically, u'll lose ur installed REAL PLAYER if u have one
and end up playing all of ur RM/RMVB files playable in other in others.
u have to do thin because REAL PLAYER CANNOT DIRECTLY PUT SOFT SUBTITLES in your video files

hmm.. yeah seishun amigo is kinda like a desperate attempt to sing a portion in spanish by pikame (which is just a heart melter btw :p).
the spanish words does add flare to the song dont u think? pretty~~
and i think the beat/melody is spanish inspired. (i dunno. i just think so heheh!!). & amigo=friend. u got it ryt!
we dont associate amigo to any other meaning but just friend. its purely spanish dont worry ur not gettin twisted
and basically most of us here are not really spanish-speaking ppl like u
so we trust ur expertise regarding the translation of seishun amigo ^^

most probably u r right coz asian languages do come up with a lot of adjectives/adverbs that doesnt really have an exact equivalent to the english/ spanish language if a whole phrase is to be translated ^^
