I am a dietary aid at a nursing home, and I hate it. lol The job itself is alright, but the people really get on my nerves. Some of the nurses treat us like we are nothing since we work in the kitchen and a lot of my coworkers don't do any work. There are good days, but then there are bad days. I suppose that is everywhere though.

Yeah definately. I mean some are sort of mean, but then I guess you have to realize that they are stuck in a nursing home and all, so they are allowed to be like that.
There is this one woman who is not really with it. The aids feed her and she is in a wheel chair. But her husband comes to visit everyday no matter rain, sleet, snow, hail, or shine. He feeds her lunch and supper, and even takes her outside when it is nice outside. He is so devoted to her and it is really sweet. I hope I have a relationship like that one day...

hopefully some of you get the respect you deserve at your workplace. I cannot imagine being in such an environment of very long, before wanting to move on where my work is appreciated and my efforts are noticed. ganbatte ne.
that devotion, between that man and his wife, that is true unconditional love, people should really cherish their relationships more and take marriages more seriously, but what the hell do i know, i am a single guy wondering that myself, just my added two cents on what i have observed and read about regarding relationships. Hey, maybe i should be a marriage counselor, nah....probably not my specific field of interest.

People that live/know L.A. might be the only ones that appreciate this: I was working over the phone with a customer today, and we always verify their address in case we need to send a field technician out. I could tell she lived in West Hollywood and I started to say "Your address is,,," and before I could finish she said, " I live in middle of Sodom and Gomorrah"
