thanks for adding your thoughts...i thoroughy respect the position that you and dochira are making....i agree....it would be unseemly to have to start picking and choosing....i just feel like in some cases it makes more sense to have an individual thread, and i used kimura takuya as a best of class example....in any event i exchanged messages with an admin so....not to "strike" as you intimate but just to extend the dialogue on the subject.
glad thats been settled, i didnt mean to say 'strike' hahah more like expressing your unsatisfaction, but im trying to understand both sides, and you're right kimutaku deserves his solo thread, sorry aka but just to clarify that.. that doesnt mean he has the same level with the people like matsujun and jin akanishi..etc. theyre nowhere close to his filmography experience. not to bring up any flame here.. just a lil comparison.
anyway, theres nothing i can do but to respect the mods decision, no problem for me. _________________

yeah well we seem like-minded on the subject...i guess that is what my original impetus was regarding the whole thing, that is to say i felt many ppl would agree with my position because it's not far fetched.....especially in regards to ppl like kimura takuya...oh well. thanks for proverbial vote of confidence

as for the recent debate for JE artists having their own threads or not... hmm im not gonna say anything because i can understand why it's being done, but it's also hard when i only admire one person of a whole johnny's group and hafta post in their thread... and then i think some people think i'm just ignoring the others... and yes its really hard to sift info.. but i think that whatever i believe, someones already said it so im not gonna keep raising the subject. i believe it'll all work out...
ok anyway the reason why im posting here is actually to ask a question and i wasnt sure where to ask it ^^ because obviously i cant find the right thread or whatEVER but this is kinda like a say anything thread right? ok so here goes...
anyone know of any japanese stores in new york? ive got kinokuniya bookstore and info on asahiya bookstore, but im wondering if theres any place to get fun fangirly stuff... hahahaha... i doubt theres any store selling johnnys stuff tho... hmm, but yeah. if anyone knows of like a japanese magazine store or a place t hat sells japanese mags in NYC..... onegai!! omg im such a fangirl, i wanna smack myself sometimes ><
oh the reason why im asking is cuz i might be going to the city tomorrow... and tho i know its kinda late of me to ask... im hoping!
and even if not, i think theres lots of places il end up going anyway for fun, all around the city.. maybe go shopping... hit up some cool places... etc. but yeah, thanks ^^ _________________
