Guh, I am getting so much closer to being vegan.
Of course, the veggies are exposed to chemical fertilizers and pesticides....
Sheesh. *gives up, reaches for a double-double with cheese*
lol...welps the farm raised fish don't have the benefit of travelling in open waters to lessen the possible exposure to environmental toxins in any one given area....

omg.
that reminded me of the time at a chinese restaurant when this guy i really dislike put the chicken head on my plate when i wasnt looking, and then when i looked, i screamed my head off... well this was like 7 years ago or something... but i held a grudge against him for years. LOL. and then my bro tried it again the next time we went to a chinese restaurant... he then brought it home to scare his girlfriend and froze it in the freezer.............. _________________

I woulda thought a "farm" would have control over the environment such that exposure to that junk would be close to nil.

Silly me.
i don't think that's an implausible line of thinking...i'm just relating why fish raised via aquaculture might be more tainted than their wild counterparts....
i once saw this documentary where they were going to farm fish in the ocean using circular nets that don't move to try to derive the benefit of aquaculture and "open ocean" living...looked pretty ambitious.

Of course, that exposes them to the environment and its consequences.
Unless the nets are rigged with filters or somethin'...

no filters as i recall...but because it was an open ocean aquaculture project the movement of the ocean was supposed to dissapate the waste products from the fish....
looked tough because it was in the atlantic and you know it can get pretty rough
i like fish love sushi....sashimi...mmmmm......s'all good...nuthin' beats an old chicken head
i can imagine it now!!!!!
THE CHICKEN HEAD VS MONKEY HAND BATTLE
SHOBU!!!!
The monkey hand rules.....and will kick the Chicken head's arse..lol
Monkey hand has a lot of options, b*tch slap, picking mode, fist, wish, scratch the head and back in good mode, lots of options and let's not forget the friends mode, when they come in a bundle...does the chicken head have that?, i don't think so...hahahah
and also, monkey hand was on nobuta wo produce with the three legged pig and friends, he is a celebrity now!
i had Mr. Lee's Sandwiches for lunch, and side order of spring rolls(shrimp, bbq pork). yum..

oddly enough, i was snacking on nori strips last night.. just munching them by themselves..
then i got bored and made a kikkoman + wasabi mix..
i got bored again and wrapped some rice and dipped it in the mix..
then i got annoyed and defrosted some salmon from the ref, got the bamboo mat and started making me some sushi.
