i dont think motokare is that bad... i gotten mine a month ago and i enjoy it... every story has it flaws and strengths just that the ending they expected is different from what they hoped, they predicted the drama as bad, i dun really think that the girl he choose in the end is wrong as if he remains as before, wont he be unfaithful to both? Its what i think at least...

Hmm...

I haven't watched "Motokare" yet but I've got my hands on "Boku dake no Madonna" last month and finished watching it in about 3 days and I think the show's pretty funny partly due to Kyoko's character. Even though the show's predictable... I still enjoyed watching it.

Certain scenes of "Boku dake no Madonna" reminded me of "SOS" though. hehe

finally, I had watched the motokare series. But I just rent the cds though. My comment is ...at first I hated ryoko because she's a b**** but towards episode 5, I actually pity her.. in my opinion although she wanted to prove herself to be an independent woman..Nao is actually the independent and sensible one.. and I like dohmoto in this series, although he obviously still have feelings for ryoko..he still tries to protect nao..but i guess you can't really blame him.. love is blind.. Google
I haven't finished the whole episode and planning not to finish it.. haha.. because I'm sad for nao - although I think she deserves better and it's better for dohmoto and ryoko to be together in the series.. but I guess it still breaks my heart at the end.. Sweat
well that's it for me motokare... perhaps one of the best series I've seen so far.. because I'm still thinking about it right now.. and I like the soundtrack too.. actually it was first time for me listening to kinki kids..

yo, I watched moto-kare(My-Ex) last 2 weeks ago. I like it. to explore love between rina-dohmoto-ryoko is difficult and was thread carefully by producers... what would you do if u were in dohmoto's shoes. his love for ryoko is still strong even after they breakup. so i imagine that to move on he dates rina, not knowing that ryoko will come back to his life. but in the case of the story, ryoko does comes back and now dohmoto is uncertain. he's begining to ask himself "why? why did u come back into my life". all his past feelings suddenly rushed back... overwhelming him. to understand dohmoto, u have to experience love itself. i feel his confusion. whereas rina loses confidence, didn't want to fight... and just gave up. ryoko on the other hand, tells dohmoto on numerous times that she still loves him(even knowing about rina) and hopes they get back together.

just watched Love Generation last night. lesson learn is that love is not only about trust, lovers need confidence and willingness to create happiness/to make your love life work. don't wait for the other party to do it for you. cheerio!

I'm really glad to hear some of the postiive feedback about MotoKare. Despite what everyone say if it has Ryoko in it i'll probably buy it anyway when the english subbed version is available. hehe

i've watched both.. pretty ok to me.. 'MotoKare' made me feel like killing Touji (Tsuyoshi's character) for his indecisiveness... but i was more attracted to it initially coz of the cast.. Tsuyoshi, Ryoko, Rina~~ Bleah it has beautiful songs inside too... Teko's Theme, Tsunami, Hakka Candy.. Big Grin the ending was a bit abrupt to me... but in any case, i've always like Tsuyoshi and Ryoko as a couple (must have been the effects of 'Summer Snow')

'Boku Dake no Madonna' had its funny parts.. though i was a bit bored by the story sometimes.. Sweat like the way Surumi (Kyoko's character) calls Kyoichi (Tackey's character) 'Kyon'.. as the reports had said, this drama has some resemblance to 'P.S. Shunpei Desu' (it's one of my personal fav.)

my advice is just buy the dramas if u are the fans of any of the cast.. Rolling eyes

urm u can find it in kotaraya(s&m) got the malay subtitle..but actually i saw many places having it too...
i watch both...diff kind of drama...
takizawa got the best actor..while tsuchan trailing behind him..i think tsu chan deserve too win...
motokare is a complicated drama(not that complicated)..i like him with ryoko...maybe just that i din really like rina...i dun find her that cute..hehe sori..tsuchan's acting is so real..that u actually hates him for hurting both of them....that makes him good u get the feeling...and what more he is so cute..and his brother too..saito shota(real name)..cute guys..in hotman i just love him..he has a twin bro too..a good old tsuyoshi drama...
i saw boku no madonna also..a cute love drama...kyoko hasegawa so cute and pretty...nice body also..takky's acting skill not that good still have space to improve...urm dun need much of acting skill..but its nice and cute the love between them..and kinda of mysterious about kyoko hasegawa that left u pondering around...not to mention the cute things she say bout takky "kyung"..and how she has the affect on him and all..is a good one too..hehe..
at the end ..i just wanna say that..diff drama..diff theme...but of cuz tsuchan the acting is way better and the songs from motokare rocks tsunami and hakka candy...but takky's sweet and cute leave u smiling..
and one more think how come everyone is so anti bout the ending of motokare..??i dun understand..i support ruoko and tsu...and the ending has my vote of the best scene...cuz tsu is so sweet in a childish happy way that makes u think ..how can he act it so really like he is so in love with her...but actually he is not ata ll...so cute..i love him the best...

motokare isnt as bad as it sounds, seriously. i finished watching it yesterday and in fact, i thought it was really good. i can understand who he chose in the end, and i guess it was a pretty obvious choice. even thought ppl might hate makoto of her doings, my opinion is she's just being honest and direct. while nao, i guess she's just a bit too 'sweet and nice' for toji. i dont wanna say anymore to spoil the show, just one word of advice.. keep and open mind when watching motokare, coz things like this DO happen in real life, and when it does.. only you can decide Wink

I liked MotoKare mostly because of the good acting from the three main cast.. As for the story, it is OK.. I can understand Toji for choosing who he chose.. but just cant understand why Makoto did the things she did.. Crazy

Makoto(hirosue) is in love, so much in love with Toji(tsu-chan) that she acts like a spoilt kid. Love can make u do 'funny' things...

I just got my copy of Madona in Malaysia. watched it in a day... nice, warm and funny. i love the part where everyone starts calling takky- kyon, and the way the lecturer reacts when takky shouts in reply to his friend-takashi during class. hilarous... haha.

somehow u get the feeling that hasegawa's character begins to 'like' takky but very understated. some classic moments like when takky kisses keiko(shimatani), then spotted by surumi(hasegawa). u see that she 'mentally' snapped for a moment. when takky takes back the apt keys and removed the key holder, how surumi felt 'sad' about it. then the 'necktie' and etc... very well underplayed.

my verdict: 4.5 out of 5 for both My-Ex and ...And I love Her. Good dramas.

just finished watching Moto Kare yesterday and i liked it very much. the hakka candy song by kinki kids matches the drama. luckily i managed to download the mp3. i also loved watching how the characters treat their job irrespective of whether it is food manager, advertising or even lift girl. maybe we can safely say in general this is the japanese way of life. couldn't say the same in my country......
but as for Madonna, still stuck on first cd. the story is weird....

Moto Kare is grwat. I'd definitely recommend it. I thought that Makoto(Hirosue) and Touji(Tsuyoshi) just felt so comfortable with each other. Makoto is not a ***** though. She gave Touji many chances to reject her and she did try to forget him as well, but I suppose love is Blind!!!

Sad to say Motokare was better then Boku dake No madonna. Feel that Takizawa in Boku cannot act as well as needed to make his character more realistic. I mean his expressions were so limited and that he made it seem impossible for such a guy to exist, who would be that masochistic.

In Motokare everybody's acting abilities were on average better then Boku, with the better exploration of side relationships. Which was left quite underdeveloped in Boku. Rina wasnt that annoying as in other doramas which made it easier to sympathise with her.

I don't think this dorama is bad. I had read a review from viewer and he/she gave 1/10 for this dorama. This is nonsense. Angry This dorama is another creative idea by the producer. It is not just like a normal triangle-love story. I don't want to spoil this dorama here. This dorama also just for entertainment and hope everybody to enjoy it. I like this dorama....... Big Grin
