Takizawa Hideaki will be acting in a Jackie Chan movie to be shown internationally next year. He attended the opening ceremony of a Macau hotel, "Grand Emperor Hotel" with Jackie on 20 Jan where they announced this plan. At the moment, Johnny's Jimusho is still waiting for the script but has commented that Takizawa can take on roles in a modern or period setting. The duo will be releasing the movie under the name of Jackie & Tackie and Takizawa has to learn Cantonese and use both Japanese and English in the movie. Jackie had known Johnny-san for about 30 years and the latter brought him to watch Dream Boy in 2004 thus that was how Takizawa was picked to star in the new movie. The two met each other for the first time on 19 Jan on Jackie's wife's birthday party. The movie also stars Hong Kong's Andy Lau and Jacky Cheung.

I'm wheeling in disbelief and delight over the news, however, nothing is really confirmed until everything's been signed and stamped - I hope Jackie Chan is not just making polite talk, because that is possible. I hope the news will be confirmed, because it's really a HUGE opportunity for Takki and I'm proud of him.

But...does this mean this will take him away from T&T unit activities AGAIN, like what Yoshitsune did? I'm worried about this as well.

I think I am reacting to the news with mixed reactions, LOL.

Also, Boku Dake no Madonna might not seem amazing or special at first glance, but it's a really great and very sweet drama. I love it, it's simple without being sickly sweet and Takki looked really adorable in there. I just want to take his Kyon home and cuddle him and keep him as my pet.
