If you liked Swing Girls you should keep an eye out for Linda, Linda, Linda when it comes out. It's about a bunch of girls who try to get a Blues Hearts cover band together for a school concert. Sounds like it will be good in a similar kinda way. The DVD is out soon in Japan I think but there's no subtitles on it, so we'll have to wait for a HK or US one I guess.
Yeah, a lot of people suggest that movie to fans of Swing Girls. I'll definitely see it when I can.

I don't know if it was posted before, but here's a website loaded with movies. Only public domain movies, (over 550 free and legal) so a lot of old stuff in black and white, sometimes no dialogs at all, but still classics. If you want to see Charlie Chaplin, Attack of the Giant Leeches or Popeye for President check it out.

I suspect they got their material from http://www.archive.org/details/movies (see the Feature Films section). I'd say go to archive.org, do the direct download of a better quality version.

Does anyone know where I could get Fantastipo? I know they have the DVD at Yesasia.com, but they want almost 50 dollars for it. And I don't know if it is worth it.

I bought 2046 and finished it last night. I know a lot of Kimutaku fans didn't like it because he wasn't in the movie that much (well, duh, he's not the main character), but I really enjoyed it. The story was intriguing and all the actors were great. I'm going to have to watch In the Mood for Love to fully understand this story since it's like a sequel to that movie. I especially loved the featurette when Kimutaku was interviewed. hehehe. _________________

Although they're pretty similar, 2046 and In The Mood For Love aren't related. Tony Leung, however, is like the same character in two different movies, so I guess you could say that 2046 is the sequel in spirit. I don't think you'll find out more of the story by watching In The Mood For Love, though.
