oooh the trilogy was the samaria trilogy by sharon shinn... the original trilogy consists of Archangel, Jovah's Angel, & The Alleluia Files... kinda girly maybe but really really good! and she also came out with Angelica & Angel-Seeker after... which are also Samaria novels but I guess just not part of the original trilogy...
ooooh you just read shadow of the giant??? thats a GOOD book.. i LOVE the entire shadow saga!!! bean was my favorite so... i liked them more than the books following ender's story |
Ah ic, i was thinking of a series i read on a young Merlin or something - don't quite remember now but it wasn't too bad.
Yeah, the shadow series was excellent - exciting, to say the least.
Haven't read the ones following Ender's story though - tried starting once and it just felt too different.
And nope, haven't heard of First Meeting before - I'll look into that...thx

First meetings, while very short (200 pages), was really really fun to read because of the premise. The name of the book really is what it's all about: First Meetings.
The first short story is about how Ender's father meets his mother, the 2nd is about how Ender's parents meet Colonel Graff, and the 4th is about how Ender meets Jane (who you may not remember if you didn't read much of Speaker for the Dead. She's a central character in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Ender books).
It was so sad for me for the Bean quartet to end! ah well, maybe he'll fill in the time between where Bean leaves and Peter dies =/ |
Haven't read any of these. Only read Ender's Game for my Summer Reading assignment at the end of my Sophmore year. Loved that book
If I have time I would like to read the books that follows this and the ones leading up to Ender's game.
Right now, I'm about to try and finish this boring book about Robinson Crusoe. Never have a read a book as boring as this. Guy whines so much and out of nowhere starts to thank God for everything. Meets a cannibal on an island and what not. This part is kinda funny in a way. _________________
