yeah...poor Jun, he'll soon be replaced by yamapi (nah, I don't think I'd give up Jun that easily...haha...) But seriously, the last couple of weeks I've been so into watching NwP & I was so addicted to yamapi I kinda forgot all about Jun
But now I'm gonna watch HYD again, so that I can fall back in love with Jun.

There are only 9 eps all together sadly.

uh oh.. i havent been back in this thread and the arashi thread for a lil while now... is what u said coming true? sadly it might be... err, i mean, no its not, i still love jun (i squealed when i saw him trying to imitate kame making a seductive pose)... whenever i see him in clips i watch for news or whatever, it always makes me like 100x happier if JUN shows up in them too... i wonder why hes not as close to members of the other bands and why its just arashi.. but then i realize that its cuz they debuted so long ago... or something... lots of reasons really... but whenever i see him there im very very happy. so no i guess the obsession phase has ended, and thats prolly a good thing

but yes.. pi's perf in nobuta.. killed me!!! haha i really really need to watch hana yori dango and get my sanity back (or maybe make myself even crazier!!!) lolol

After reading the manga, I'm a bit disappointed with how the drama portrayed Thomas's character

In the Manga, he is like the exact opposite of Rui in a way
I read to up Vol. 12 so far of HYD.

Like when Domyoji goes to New York. I kinda forgot why...but I think it was after he found out Makino got kinda close to this guy name she calls Kin san who was never put in the drama. His role in the manga takes place around the time Makino was to enter the Miss Teen Japan Contest.

Hi! Hana Yori Dango is the first Janapese drama I have watched, although I have seen LOTS of KDrama and Meteor Garden, Mars, and Peach Girl from Taiwan. I was wondering if you could reccomend some JDrama that is similar to HYD? Nothing super sad (those make me crazy!!) but stuff that has funny parts and keep you wanting more. Thank you!!!

I guess.....Nobuta wa Produce should be the next thing you should watch.
Its got its funny moments and moments that gets you really into the drama
Plus its pretty recent so you won't be having trouble with seeds i believe.

Other school dramas I recommend would be
1. GTO (Classic)
2. DragonZakura
3. not sure if you would call it a school drama, but Orange Days is good.
4. If you can deal with seeing guys in speedos, then Water Boys. Its quite entertaining and hilarious

GTO and Gokusen are the same IMHO... just different sex leads.

But about what doramas to watch.
Definitely watch Nobuta although it's kinda weird and I had a little dark vibe from it. And it'll probably take a while for ppl to understand why Akira is so awesome at first...but yeah.

Well I first got into the whole dorama scene from Gokusen. Because Jun was just that awesome. So if you think you might be a Jun fan, definitely watch Gokusen. The plot does get a bit repetitive though. But Sawada's (Jun) really sweet. I mean if you really wanted to you could watch all of Jun's dramas like Kimi wa Petto and stuff. He was really cute in it. Ummmm I guess I haven't really watched that many doramas. But you could probably check them out at youtube.com
