Definitely watch Nobuta although it's kinda weird and I had a little dark vibe from it. And it'll probably take a while for ppl to understand why Akira is so awesome at first...but yeah.

Well I first got into the whole dorama scene from Gokusen. Because Jun was just that awesome. So if you think you might be a Jun fan, definitely watch Gokusen. The plot does get a bit repetitive though. But Sawada's (Jun) really sweet. I mean if you really wanted to you could watch all of Jun's dramas like Kimi wa Petto and stuff. He was really cute in it. Ummmm I guess I haven't really watched that many doramas. But you could probably check them out at youtube.com

i was thinking of watching gokusen.. but is it really that entertaining? lol... because everyone i know told me to watch it, but i think that's only because of matsujun...

gokusen is what got me into jdoramas... i'd highly recommend it, and not just because of jun (tho thats where i did fall for him)...i think its sooo cute and funny and altho kinda cheesy... its definitely highly entertaining. from my point of view, anyway... ive shown it to a few people and also gotten them hooked on jdoramas... =P and its also pretty good in that each episode is kinda separate (not so much of cliffhangers as many other jdramas, including hana yori dango).

I highly recommend Gokusen. It is definitely worth watching and I�fm not saying it because of Jun. So go ahead and watch it. Well, I just started on HDY and it was great. Rui is kinda of cute especially when he smile. I think it is time I revised on the HDY manga.

Because some of you convinced me to read the manga, I started to. I learned all sorts of things from the frequent mangaka comments on the side, like there was originally supposed to be five members of F4 (F5?), Takuya Kimura did the voice of Rui in the CD drama, Domyouji was supposed to have dreadlocks, and other stuff. Interesting. I'm gonna read vol. 4 soon.

Wait till you meet Domyouji's sister in the manga. Nanako made her look too "nice" hehe

Ohh and till you get to the miss teen of japan competition, difference big time.

OOHH!!!! you get to meet Makino's friend who wasn't in the Drama which in some ways is a big relief. You'll find out his purpose in the manga.

Is he in the anime? I'm trying to think of who you're talking about... or maybe I just haven't watched that far in the anime yet.

Ohhhh him! Haha. I've only seen the first two episodes of the drama so I thought he would come in a later episode or something. He's a funny guy. I like his relationship with Domyouji and how they somehow became friends. hehe

hi! newbie here though not a newbie to j-dramas. i'm so glad some japanese tv station (thanks TBS!) finally decided to make my fave manga into a live-action series. it made me more excited because my fave actors also play the lead roles! mao inoue, matsumoto jun, and oguri shun? what more could i ask for? coven p.s. anyway, i hope those who are from the philippines here could help me. does anyone have contacts in the metro manila area who sell copies of not only hanadan, but other j-dramas as well? i'm so tired of dl-ing. thanks!

i'm sure this questions has been asked countless times but is there gonna be a special to it?? I thought the ending was kinda bad. it was rushed. so is there gonna be a special ending?? crosses fingers great drama nevertheless. definitly on top 3 list. I thought Inoue Mao was excellent in this drama. Very cute. ^_^

hi..hi...newbie here.. hana yori dango.... matsujun drama that makes me the house of damyoji family makes me the jet also but I think the best act in here is oguri off coz but Minna do u think that the end was not actually the end??...coz the story is not actually show the final of the story...do u think that there will be hana yori dango the 2nd one.... the soundtrack were also great...the first sound track were sang by the arashi right? but in there's one song that actually similar to harry potter soundtrack (maybe just my hearing that actually wrong)...okay I think this drama is must ...must...be your list to watch
