as i watch the clip, takuya looked kinda nervous as he made his announcement.hmmm.nervous of what?can't really explain his facial expression coz he's too damn polite to show it.but i also heard that his marriage to shizuka is now on "i-think-we-need-some-space-gomen-but-i-want-a-divorce" stage. i feel sorry for their kids, how will kokomi and mitsuki take it?but i don't want to be a hypocrite---i was so happy when i heard the news.guess i'm torn between the kids and my love for takuya...hehehehe!

Here's something else. When he's making the announcement, the other members are standing behind and Tsuyoshi, who felt the pressure on Kimura-kun and actually said he had never seen him like that, had wanted to go to him but Shingo stopped him. That was so touching, to be that concerned!

I know. Wasnt that so interesting? He looked like a Shotgun Wedding victim with an ugly bride.

Although he still looked really cute in that green suit. Victory! Peace!

just in case you missed this annoucement:

New Samurai on the Block
About 500 reporters turned out yesterday to hear about a movie that has barely started filming. Director Yamada Yoji's latest venture into the world of samurai drama stars SMAP heart-throb Kimura Takuya (33). And at yesterday's pre-production announcement, they made it clear that they're aiming to make a movie that is Oscar material. "Bushi no Ichibun" is Kimutaku's first venture into period drama, but Yamada is already comparing him with that most stoic of actors, Takakura Ken. He has grown a bit of a beard for his role as a low-level samurai, blinded by his job as a poison tester, who seeks revenge against the man who steals his wife. The movie, not due for general release until next year, has had an offer from the Berlin Film Festival, where Yamada's "Tasogare Seibei" (Twilight Samurai) was nominated for the Golden Bear award in 2003.

Thank you! I had heard of the movie but didn't have that much detail. I hope this movie really helps his film career. He's such an excellent actor IMO, that he needs to be on the big screen much more.

Thank you Eve for the yummy pic and cool video! That is a really pretty song :-)

As for the wedding video, he did look nervous, but I remember reading that I think people were worried as to how the fans would take their idol getting married and what would happen with his career. That may have accounted for it IMO.

i'm sincerely looking forward to it...i anticipate that it will be a well-crafted work, especially in light of the last two samurai movies directed by yamada, "Twilight Samurai" starrring Rie Miyazawa of Tokyo Elevator fame and "The Hidden Blade" starring Matsu Takako.

I always like Matsu Takako.
Do you know if these movies were released in the States? IN any of the major cities?
Just curious, as living where I do we are out of touch with mainstream.

Hi Hi, I like Smap a lot, especially Takuya Dancing

Want to ask if there are english sub SMAPxSMAP episodes available in the internet?
So far I can only find RAWs or Chinese sub episodes.. Can anyone help?

And any recommendations where I can download SMAP media? (e.g. variety shows, radio braodcasts, etc) For english sites, I only know D-addicts and JPopSuki.

Thanks! w00t!
