Hmmmm, don't know how's situation in Japan, but here we prize education very high and dropping out of high school (except gipsys) is preposterous. But then again our high school is 6 years, while japanese is 3 years, so it may not make such a big difference . Besides with so many side agreements it's hard to keep track with school. Lot of fellow-students drop out from university, because they started to work, I also had to postpone graduation with one year . _________________

Hi guys, I was just reading Becky's online blog and she mentions Aya. I clumsily translated it.
Just before I went to China, I met Aya Pyon (Ueto Aya chan) and received
her new single "Egao no mama de". It's been on endless repeat!!!!!!!
It's a REALLY good song!
I listened to it so many times until tears started pouring(>_<B)
After all, Aya has a really good voice!!!!
Just before Becky wrote this, she got the feeling of an Angel.
Everything became transparent and started glittering!!
It's on sale now so buy it and play it to other people!
I guess right now Aya is working at the Olympics in Torin!
Aya Pyon keep healthy, ne-!!!!!

Thanks for that evie
I know Aya is good friends with Ayana Sakai and Becky.
As for dropping out of high school, she probably had to when filming started on Kinpachi-sensei. That was a long drama!

You think she might take some time off to finish High School???
She probably has what.....1 yr left?
Finish High School? I HOPE she arranges her life so that she goes on and at least gets a Bachelors degree from a University (even if she has to do this through a correspondence/online setup).
Last night I watched a CSpan program that featured the heads of state from Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Queen Rania from Jordon:
Queen Rania is not only beautiful but HIGHLY intelligent and VERY articulate. She is ascending as a major world leader doing a tremendous amount of good in Jordon and around the world.
As I watched her I thought to myself...Aya is MORE BEAUTIFUL but she is trapped, almost abused by this ridiculous JPop/Oscar Promotions system that pushes her from one promotion to the next..."Nail Queen???!!!!!"
I think there is SO MUCH MORE to Aya than that cute smile that drives us to fill up 635 pages with everything Aya. Her managers SHOULD be ashamed of themselves. Instead of squeezing every last $ out of her, they should have her best interests at heart and should be encouraging her to finish High School and way beyond.
Aya originally planned on being a school teacher...I believe that even now she could take her celebrity and use this for great good and emerge as a world leader herself. Yes, a WORLD LEADER--not necessarily a political leader but one of the most influential people on the planet. Ask yourselves...do any of you know of anyone who has more appeal than Aya Ueto? She's got a gift! And guys like me (and you) fall all over ourselves because of that gift.
So yes she should get as well educated as possible, become FLUENT in English and get her head out of the "Nail Queen" bubble and became a global player for great good.

I agree that she should get a good education and one day be the teacher she always wanted to be.
Though for now I'm sure her being one of Japan's top female idol, if not the #1 female idol as of now, is inspiring others to have big dreams and try to reach them. So her being an idol right now isn't all bad.
Yea, the "Nail Queen" isn't much to brag about, but at least it did allow her to rid herself of the bad habit of biting her nails
She has enough Money to probably live the rest of her life, but as long as she is happy doing what she wants, then all is good
Aya being a world leader.........thats a bit out there I think.....
She can start by being a leader in Japan by doing things that most idols over there don't do. Thats taking a step......but her being a world leader right now....much to soon _________________

Absolutely correct! She's only 20 and has already done amazing things!

I agree. I brought up Queen Rania not as a direct comparison to Aya now, but as a role model that Aya could follow as she moves forward (hope you are reading this Aya ). Queen Rania is a 36 year old woman, Aya is only a 20 year old young woman--just barely out of her teens--so no I don't expect her to have the experience or savvy that Rania does.
But I BELIEVE IN HER (and I know you do too) and her potential! We all become what we do. So Aya needs to start doing different things. She needs to start NOW to change the mix--to focus on on her education, and to set her sites on what is really important--and that doesn't necessarily mean being in the world spotlight--but can also mean FAMILY.
For now I'd like to see Aya spend less time in Nail Queen type promos and MORE time visiting kids at the hospital, championing medical projects (like curing aging and age-related diseases ), environmental projects--or whatever SHE feels is important. And of course immediately she should get enrolled in some kind of educational program. She's already getting a very good "world education" through all the experiences she going through that most young women her age never have.
To show you what a fantastic role model Rania is consider that she was born in Kuwait and speaks English as a second language--yet her command of English today exceeds most native speakers. And Rania is an amazingly well grounded individual who believes strongly in family (as I know Aya does). Listen to Rania in HER OWN WORDS (NOT a translation)...
Following the sad passing of His Late Majesty King Hussein, and the ascension of His Majesty King Abdullah, we were faced with enormous responsibilities and challenges. Fortunately, we had had a taste of public life in our roles as Prince and Princess, but still the adjustments to King and Queen were considerable. In fact, we are still learning.
I think we always will. Many people are awestruck by the title of gQueenh, but for me, it is a job that incorporates several roles. Primarily, my duty is to partner His Majesty in his efforts to improve the standard of living of all Jordanians. While respecting our traditions, we are determined to build Jordan into a modern civil society and model for the region by ensuring sustainable levels of economic growth and social development. In addition, I work in areas related to child protection and family safety, womenfs empowerment, the creation of opportunities for youth, and culture and tourism. Daunting? Yes. Impossible? No. In fact, such challenges energize me.
Like a lot of jobs, it is often hard work but, equally, it is varied and interesting and provides privileged opportunities to meet a wide cross-section of society--both at home and abroad.
As a working mother, juggling the demands of the job and four young children is not easy. Like all parents, I strive to achieve the right balance. My official activities take account of the childrenfs school day and their plans and programs, and extensive periods of time on overseas engagements are limited.
Spending a couple of hours each night with the children doing homework or reading to them in bed gives them, and me, a sense of security.
For now, I am cherishing Prince Hashem and this special time at home with my family. Being surrounded by them, grounds me and reminds me of what is important.
WOW! Now THAT is a role model worth following! I wish Aya could become friends with Rania (she COULD you know).
I BELIEVE in AYA UETO! If she gets on the right path now, I CAN imagine 16 years from now her being just as polished, just as educated (Rania only has a Bachelor's degree), and just as influential and well rounded!
