Oh yes it's great!

I think our team is in better shape than ever. If they keep up the same play as today they can beat any team. Altough, the Swedes are a very tough team, Canada, USA and Russia were all more or less strong on offence but weak on defence. Swedish team is a lot more balanced. I've always respected their icehockey team... Even though they're swedes... hehe

The only problem is that now i can't wait for sunday, and then again, after sunday it's all over, win or lose... Sweat

Yup, the lack of defence has been the weakness of other teams. Finnish team got a lot of chances cos of that, and i believe they have used most of the chances. They take the chances and defence really good, thats the key of winning ne?^^ Im really proud that finnish team is that good this year!

Swedes have a great team, theyve been always strong. But to be honest... they chose the easy way to the finals. I mean they lost and then went against Switzerland and beat them up really easily. Seems like czech was pretty weak against them too.. But well swedish have much talent Victory! Peace! it still annoys me that they lost that one game probably in purpose... it was the most boring game ever, I have to admit i called them with some nasty names Beaten

Well... The Finland-Germany match was a bit similar, Finns not giving everything they got, but i hoped for that, who knows what would've happened in the US match with tired players... And they still won.

Anyway, the thing i'm worried about is that the swedes are solid, the y really don't have many weak moments. And they proved their strenght against Czech earlier.

I think the to best teams are in the finals. And i'm certainly looking forward to a great final! I'm sure both teams are more than eager to win the title! w00t!

Bravo! I was for Suomi in this game, but didn't expected russians to give up so easily, such an absence of ideas in their play Shake Head

Ohh and I'm happy that Sweden won in womens curling, it was nice game yesterday Applaud

Yeah finland - germany game was similar, but atleast they won... it was a good decision from them... i guess swedes made a good decision too, they got to the final and that was their goal so it went well for them.

Absolutely! Best teams in the finals, its not luck that they are there, its talent^^ It will be hell of a match, may the best team win. Im sure I'll jump around excited like during the USA - Finland match, it was soo terrible >_<

As for curling match today, Finland lost... but they did really well! Theres not much players in here, around 500 only, so the result was amazing! Im sure the silver from olympics attracts more ppl to start playing curling. Lol the finnish team captain has become an idol here hahaha

That curling boom is really interesting. Nobody seriously talked about it before the olympics but now... wow!

It's been a rising sport for a long time but this is a big jump in a better direction.

I still think that icehockey is about a million times more important that curling but thats nice too. Curling is nice to watch after a tough hockey match, just to recover from the hockey hehe

Hahah its true that hockey is more important than curling, i like the excitement there is in the games. Curling is kinda interesting too and has its own excitement now when I have watched it more.. actually i just watched it first cos my sis wanted to and i didnt have anything else to do hehe So now Im interested in curling too. I remember watching curling in the past, it was so boring! Probably cos i didnt get the meaning then hehe

Im kinda waiting many of my friends to say "Hey im gonna take up curling!" hehe I wouldnt be suprised at all, cos the boom is really big right now. I guess it'll pass soon though.

Yea, I was surprised when commentator on EuroSport said that curling isn't very developed in Finland and actually skiper (can't pronounce his name) is the one who popularize it. I assumed that it'd be something like a national sport in this nordic country. Anyhow unfortunately today canadians were just awesome (if I may use this american word Mr Green), didn't leave any chance.

Its true Mr Green You could imagine we have lots of players, but really theres not much places where you can play...

Canadians were indeed awesome, as expected, but they did earn their win. In future im sure finland will be able to win them, but i guess its not the time yet Beaten

They weren't expecting it. I'm sure those pieces were created before the games. They knew it was going to be Cohen vs. Slutskaya. They just didn't figure both would stumble in the end considering both were 1-2 after the short program. It was shortsightedness by NBC and in the end, it was egg on their face.

It was probably all those eggs that they put in the same basket. hehe

There was something on NBC's face, but a lot smellier.... And it came from hitting the fan. Wink
