i'm not surprised in the least....

it's obvious why...the monkey's hand....b*tchslapped all the judges into submission. i also heard that the judges were going around saying "bye bye bicycle" all dayem day...it might have something to do with the results....so in closing let me share my reaction to the results:

Maybe you guys should ask that question in the Buy, Sell, Trade forum... You might get a better response.

Good thing you're not the judge. Sawajiri Erika is decent and still needs work but Inoue Mao excels in her performance in Hana Yori Dango. After watching Nobuta wo Produce, I understand why that was the #1 drama for the fall season. I'm glad Jukunen Rikon got something.

Edit: Actually I should just say both actresses are good but one is better of having a well-defined personality in her role. That is Inoue Mao.

im watching HYD right now..
bit late i know
because i always left the good n the best till last
like HYD n NwP
i havent finished watching both..
but soon i'll
hehehehe

bcoz i saw Meteor Garden first, i sometimes compared b/w two
In MG, i like Rui alot (of course bcoz of Zaizai)
here, Jun potray his role very well (childish n bit baka but respect friendship alot)
It made him cute
But Oguri also played his role very well
He is good as Rui (quite n mysterious)
Im bit biased. As i liked Rui in MG, i also like Oguri here...(but Zaizai won over him hehehe)

for the female actress, Inoue Mao's acting skill is very good.
She is well potraying Tsukushi..
i like her more than Barbie Hsu hahahah
for Erika Sawajiri, i cant comment as i didnt watch Ichi Litre (it's a sad drama right?)

i think it wasn't so much the drama than the actors that made NwP big. altho i have to say that Kame is a very effective actor. i'm looking forward to his future dramas.

also wanted to say that 1 litre of tears deserved best drama at least. altho erika and ryo were both really good too.

maybe i'm a little late for this, or maybe you know the info already, but to the people that were a little disappointed at the 47th television academy awards, ichi rittoru no namida was runner up for 4 awards they could've earned.

Best Actress
1) Inoue Mao
2) Sawajiri Erika

Best Supporting Actor
1) Matsumoto Jun
2) Nishikido Ryo

Best Supporting Actress
1)Horikita Maki
2)Yakushimaru Hiroko

Best Music
1)Seishun Amigo
2)Konayuki

it's true that they all did well. i just thought ichi rittoru should've won at least something.. it says on the official site that it was the say of one judge that finalized the best actress awards. but oh well, i thought they both did a superb job portraying their roles. =)

If I were the judge, I would've struggled judging Inoue Mao and Sawajiri Erika. I guess the one character they play really matters a lot, like the difficulty of the personality, which means that the written script actually has a huge effect on the number of votes they receive for that specific award. whoa sorry if i just made this sound confusing..but i hope yall can understand lol.

if it comes down to one actress though, i would've given my vote to Erika, not just because of a one-sided popularity thing..which some would assume, since she's on my profile pic and signature (-_-)a" but because it took more effort to play her role. NOT that it didn't take much effort for Mao to play Tsukushi; i totally agree with the fact that she did a perfect job portraying Tsukushi's character. Mao put life into her performance. eh i guess playing a handicapped person is a lot more difficult than it seems. plus, Erika cried her eyes out. putting ice on your eyelids every night doesn't sound like fun, does it? lol

anyway, 'twas a difficult decision for me. =p they both have a bright future awaiting them on the road.

I watched HYD, NwP and 1 litre. They were all good, but there was only one that left a lasting impression... and that was 1 litre. For HYD, I sorta forgot about it all after a week or so, NwP was only in my head because of some classmates of mine continiously saying "Kon Kon". As for 1 Litre, I found myself thinking about it constantly... and everytime I hear the songs from the drama (Konayuki and Only Human), I get sort of sad. Either way, I think 1 litre and it's cast deserved some more awards. Must be a bunch of teenage girls drooling all over the guys in HYD and NwP that made them win hehe

yeah im not a kame fan gurl or anything b4 watching NwP~ i actually had some prejudice against Kamenashi b4 ~ i thought he looked ubber weird~

but i must agree his acting is pretty good for a person not so much experience~~ he's natural and doesnt make u go EEK when u watch some idols act usually~~

I have more respect for him after watching him act actually~ i dun find that he looks that weird anymore hahah and i came to like him more
he's got potential i hope he acts more~

anyhow .. i think the best in NwP is the script~ it's a really good script and story ~ 100% to the pt of a seishun skool drama~~

I thought this past season was one of the weakest seasons. Byakuyakou had a great cast. I think that helped them to that #1 spot.

Congrats to those awards.

I dunno if they have a link for the awards. However, for me, Erika as Aya in 1 Litre of Tears was the BEST ACTOR. Her performance was astounding.

quite surprised to see those awards..
i think 1 litre of tears is better than others or shud i say better than HYD.. :p
Erika, her acting was so good..n she shud win best actress..for i think if it's not because of Erika, i wouldn't love this dorama..not to say that i just love her cute or kawaii face, but i love her acting, her emotions and "Innocence ness ".
Smile
in fact, Erika is soo kawaii~
