perhaps you cant really identify with his character the first time you watched the show... but after the 2nd and 3rd time, you can start to understand Shuji's character and perhaps see some parts of him inside us...
Of cos, Shuji and Akira make the best partner AND friends.. we cant get either of them missing....
i actually loved shuji more (and not just because kame and i are involved. bwahaha), though i have to admit akira was just adorable and addictive. i love the depth of his character. maybe some would hate him at the start, but after a while, you see the transformation, and it's just astonishing. for me anyway... on the other hand, akira kept the epis alive. he just leaves you with that happy feeling. in short, though a professed kame fan (not to mention previous yamapi ignorer.. don't hit me pls...coz i love yamapi now. really.), i must say it was really hard to choose. it's unimaginable, one being without the other. best capuro to death!! haha.
oh wait... whatever happened to nobuta? how come nobody talks about her? hehe. _________________

i also agree with what halusaid about seeing parts of shuuji inside of ourselves. At first I just adored Akira because his personality was sooo cute...and he was just a great person inside. Then I started to understnad shuuji's character more and I realized that there are some ways in which i really am sort of like him. So now...I can't choose a favorite characte haha. And it doesn't help that I'm a fan of both Kame and Yamapi.

Does any have the downlad link to download direct vobsub . I tried many but it still doesnt sub .Cause got computer got mess up and I have to re-install everything again .

omg page 100!!! wow this thread is still alive when nobuta wo produce finished a loooong time ago(or at least thats what it feels like(just missing kame pi and maki i guess)) but maki is sooooooo cute too!! lol
akiras character ennoyed me a bit int he first epi i really didn't like pi before i saw him in nobuta(sorry to al the yamapi fans) but it just ennnnoyed me how he always tgets alll the attention in news it made me feel bad for hte rest of the members...but not anymore i love pi and i love news but omg
shuji is sooo sweet i love shuji just as much as i love akira but shuji's sometimes really cold hearted and that made me rethink his character but hten of course he raly wwsen't like that and he was prob the most caring and thought about nobuta and akira the most

I agree with everyone else. Akira is, in my opinion, Yamapi's best played role. The expressions, the kon-kon and the personality - Akira was just so lovable!
Prior to watching Nobuta wo Produce, I didn't really like Yamapi. In fact, being the tremendous KAT-TUN fan I am, I watched Nobuta only for Kame. But WHOA! Yamapi's performance in Nobuta was just excellent. It blew me away.
I'm not going to say that Yamapi was a better actor than Kame, but I felt that Akira was a LOT more eloquent and open with people than Shuji. Due to the nature of Kame's role, being somewhat reserved and self-reliant, Kame didn't have as many opportunities as Yamapi did to flaunt his acting skills.
After watching Nobuta, my impression of Yamapi changed considerably. Kame had also outdone himself once again. Horikita Maki was a great joy to watch as well! Anyway, the three of them make an awesome trio. They have great chemistry together.

yess.... we dont need to choose.. just have to love them both...
of cos, Nobuta is important since her character in the story helps to bring out the things and changes we see..

ahhh my sentiments exactly..... they're the cutest trio, i looove them together!! and shuji x akira... such an amazing pair.
the role of akira was a really challenging and crazy one and yamapi definitely surpassed my expectations... he won me over in nobuta so i guess i hafta thank the show for that =P

Im trying to read through all the pages here on the NwP thread, im on page 83 right now. Wow. Well last nite around 330am I watched episodes 9 and 10. (Usually before I watch an ep of NwP i watch a episode of My Girl, then ISWAK hehe.) I watched one episode a night, I didnt want to watch it too fast and then regret watching it too fast hehe You have no idea how hard it was for me, I wanted to watch all of em in one day! haha
All I have to say is that I absolutely love this drama. The ending was a bit of a surprise for me...I dont want to say anything else cause others might not have watched all of the episodes yet...but I guess this is how its going to end. sigh. Makes me just want to hug Nobuta!

She has made friends with Mariko, and she got to smile =] Im sure in the future the 3 of them will meet again. Shuji and Akira will surely help eachother and be friends forever. Not sure if there will be a special NwP reunion show...or nething like that. But it was nice to see all of them happy.
I get really attached to these dramas, maybe since i some some kinda of relation so it...plus i love Horikita Maki heheh sigh. im just sad its over...
